To dodge IP issues, FromSoftware LEGALLY has to not mention Demon's Souls.

I don't care if this is a sequal or not...

For gawd's sakes, who gives a sheet?

If this game delivers the same experience as Demon's Souls, and maybe takes it further (and it looks like it might according to the developer), then it is a day 1 purchase for me period.

To claim you wont play this or are arguing if this is a sequal or...

B.S. FFVI, IMO the best Final Fantasy, was an ensemble cast, and not emo crap like FFX.

For the life of me, I don't see why anybody gives a sheet.

The game looks fantastic and I will be purchasing it day one. Demon's Souls 2, Dark Souls....whatever...bring the pain.

Good work...I share the same sentiment.

You have to give it some time.

I respectfully disagree with you.

Bioware is doing a much better job than the other wRPG developers in telling a tighter narrative.

Bethesda, well...Oblivion WAS good, but has not aged well. Fallout was good for atmosphere, but we will have to see with Skrim if they can really pull everything together into something special.

Im enjoying Two Worlds II, don't get me wrong, but to say Bioware and Bethesda are the WORST is bit too str...

This, im fine with.

I bought it and am about 20 hours in. Never played the first one.

Yes, there are some technical issues, but I don't think any of them are game-breaking...Fallout New Vegas had way more technical problems.

Im enjoying the game to be honest. Its pretty, plenty to do...Crafting is fun...If you are counting dollars, then no this game is not worth 60...especially with Dragon Age 2 around the corner. Its def. worth a purchase used or in the bargin bid.

I don't think fairness plays into any of this.

You can't help but think that they did indeed bet on the wrong horse.

Not that XBOX is not a fine platform, but I think the user base is less inclined to purchase RPG's as opposed to the ps3 user base.

Umm are you an idiot or something?

This makes me laugh...Whoever is handling Bethesda's litigation from the in-house position needs to be fired.

"Grow up Sony fanboys"

So much hilarity in this sentance.

Don't know where to begin.

you do realize you can turn that off right?

This is going to be epic.

The developer said it might even be harder than the first and that they are trying to get 1 million deaths!

So long as the balance remains in perfect alignment and they don't resort to "cheapness" (read, all deaths are because you mis-read the situation), then this is a day one purchase for me. And a weekend by myself...windows closed only playing this game.

In interviews, most of the FromSoftware guys thought it was a marvel Demon's Souls sold so well. It was a true risk and a labor of love according to the interviews.

I don't care who else gets to play it...I want it.

And Im really liking the color pallet and the idea of an open world(ish) type place....Could make the experience even more terrifying.

If the gameplay is as balanced as the first, Its a day one purchase for me.

Im dissapointed that Atlus isin't publishing this again. They always have extra goodies in their "signature" editions that are actually useful and cool.

I've been playing it for about 15 hours now, and I can say that it is a fine wRPG. Get through the first 2 hours (bad tutorial), and then it opens up. Think of it as a campy "B-Movie" and you will have a blast with it.

Sure there are some technical issues, but no more than any game from Bethesda or other headliners. Really, Bethesda gets a free pass on technical issues, with their games crashing all the time, but Two Worlds 2 with a few frame rate issues...

This is one of the holy trinity of what was SquareSoft.

Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, FFVI.

I've spent the last 17 years looking for games that captured what those games did. Immersion, story, music...

Of course...I could just be searching for my 13 year old-self, but meh, thats another comment for another time.

The game deserves a better score than that.

I love the fact the enemies don't scale....Makes you actually think twice about going into that cave.

All these people that are saying "ZOMG ITS NOT OBLIVION!" Why don't you put back in Oblivion and play it. You may find that the game hasn't aged very well...The combat is clunky, the enemies are easy, the cities feel empty, the loot kinda sucks when you spend 25 minutes in some cave to...
