Im going to take the risk on Dungeon Siege III. IM real tired of UnReal engine games.
VI re done would be an incredibly epic game.
I mean...holy.sheet.
You sir did not get enough agrees for this comment.
Demon's Souls was the only game on there with difficulty not necessarily being a twitch-fest, but a game that required an immense amount of strategy to beat the game. Its not "hard" like the previous games on this list...it is "hard" because it requires players to use not only reflexes but intelligence as well.
Sadly, I don't think this will be correct.
Also, the "dream team" in its pure form will not all be working on the project.
In other words, it will end up not as good as Chrono Trigger...which is funny because that game is 16 years old...wow.
Chrono Cross was fine, but not as "magical" as Chrono Trigger is.
Since the ESRB already ranked it for XBOX (and not ps3) then this may be a good possiblity.
It makes me bummed being a ps3 owner that I wont be able to play Witcher 2, but oh well. Just wait for Dark Souls! Ps3 and finally Xbox owners will get a solid dose of what hardcore gaming is all about.
Unlike some others, I did not LOATHE FFXIII. If anything the music and the world was beautiful. The story was very standard anime/japanese fare, and some if not all the characters were very 2 dimensional.
That said, if they opened up the world (more like Gran Pulse...game was great for about 3 hours right there and showed a glimpse of what the original game before it got cut had in store), gave us a few towns, a few NPC's, a darker yet not convoluted story, a little e...
Im hoping this will be a solid game.
Awesome.
Dark Souls seems to take the concept of Demon's Souls and expand it.
Im really looking forward to picking up Dark Souls and replaying Demon's Souls this summer to stay sharp.
This is one of the greatest games of all time and in consideration for the best game of all time.
A true milestone in gaming.
The game is strangly compelling through both music and story.
Gameplay can be kind of interesting.
Though perhaps flawed in some ways, it is the most mis-understood game of this generation.
If you can grab it out of the bargain bin, do it. A nice shot of Japanese crazy is good for everyone.
I think its great actually.
Very alone...with something stalking you from the back...
Easily my most anticipated game this year...And that is saying alot considering the line up.
Im really not a fan of David Cage's work. Any "story-teller" that out and out lies to the listner isn't a good story teller.
They need to have tried and true screen -writers and authors to take a shot at writing something for a video game.
And the problem will always be how do you have a "realistic" story while balancing fun gameplay.
Im with you.
FFVI would be an incredibly ambitious remake. There was alot going on in that game.
Dark Souls says hi
Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPG's ever made.
Oh you mean the story-telling mechanic where the game actually lies to you then says BUT OH LOOK! HEY! GOOD STORY!
Heavy Rain was good, but LA Noire executes on a more interesting level. Better voice acting, faces, a little action and combat..better atmosphere.
In terms of choice...That does not make or break a good stroy. Every great book, great movie you have not been able to chose what happens.
Any news on Dark Souls>>>>>>& gt;>>Then Skyrim, ACIII, Rage, Deus Ex, UCS, and others.
This is easily my most anticipated game of the year, and that is saying alot this year.
Prototype, technically, Demon's souls had checkpoints too. Each level of Demon's Souls could be completed by starting in the beginning and running all the way through with no load times. The check points came after major bosses.
I would lose a bet if these "checkpoints" were in anyway helpful in terms of game progression. They will be what they s...
