Still has to beat Dark Souls for me, but goodness both Dark Souls, Skyrim, Uncharterd 3 are going to be masterpieces in their respective generes.

Honestly, all the level/stats in Oblivion was total mess.
A simple more streamlined...Use one arm sword..get better...Use shield..get better...reach a number...get level up perk...is a very natural progression.
Dragon Age 2 broke the hearts of many an RPGamer.
Castlevania 2 is the most underrated of all Castlevania's.
The premise would make for an epic action adventure.
And yes, I do remember that. Glad I had my subscription to Nintendo Power! I still remember them sending me a free game. Dragon Warrior. Been hooked on RPG's ever since.
Having not played my GOTY contenders yet, this is easily my frontrunner. And I'll be honest, if it is just Demon's Souls with an open world with continued innovation in design (multiplayer and gameplay) it will be the game of the decade for me and in my top 5 games of all time.

Of course you are correct, but the distinction most people draw between wRPG and jRPG's is some form of turn based battle system.
Demon's Souls is my favorite game of the last decade and in my top 5 of all time.
Dark Souls is my most anticipated game of the year, and that is saying alot this year.
If this is like Gran Pulse in FFXIII with some towns and exploration...yeah, I will probably buy it.
There is one thing you can say about SE...the games they develop have high production values are are usually very polished.
I certainly hope this comes out for the ps3.

I will have to see a review talking about the story to see if it is strong enough to warrent a 60 dollar price tag.
