Developers simply do not believe that the average console gamer wants 60fps over more effcects... It would be interesting to see how many PC gamers with a mid spec rig opts for higher frame above 30fps instead of higher graphical settings such as AA and such.
As a console gamer you are only ever really exposed to 60fps in COD, I never actually acknowledge the fact that most games run at 30fps, when a game is at 60fps you can tell but equally when its at 30 I don't feel ch...

The graphics are amazing, only negative point is those aweful shadows that appear when in cover.
Overall this beats crysis 3, the rendered city looked like full fledge CGI and so did all the explosion and particle effects. Crysis 3 ultra may win when it comes to close up detail, only becuase we can't really tell that well from this offscreen footage of KZ. But who the hell cares, this looks insane and is a launch title!

WHy do people continue to go as if the entirely population is supposed to upgrade on launch day, this has never happened and is never going to happen. As long sony doesn't set an insane price ($800), we will see the typical case of early adopters in the first 8-10m units sold in year one, at full price. Year 2 will see a price drop so the maximum price is $400-449 and then the mainstream will begin to pick up. year 3 will see it hit full mass market price at $299 alongside fan favourit...
$500 will probably translate into £349

Unless they specify "launch day", then they may mean weeks after the ps4 is actually out. EIther way it will be considered a launch title
I wasn't referring to a touch only device. I was talking a bout a touch screen/pad on a traditional gaming control (wi U/ps4).
of course for touch only devices it works well for simple experiences
loool, stop trolling. Simply running at a higher resolution does not equate to looking better. Nor does frame rate... The game looks incredibly bland, but is compensated by good physics are a fairly open world. 90% of current gen games were looking better then this from 2007. I would even say Oblivion a 360 launch window title topped this but I guess that ran like shit.

What you mean to say is that next gen launch titles won't look as good as crysis 3 maxed out on PC. And even that may be up for debate, depending on which 1st party developers are releasing games at launch.

The Vita's game cardridges come in 4 and 8GB. 8GB is pretty much the same size an xbox 360 disc lol.

Well yeah thats normally the pattern. The PSP, Gameboy, GBA DS, 3DS all sold at a much faster rate then then pretty much all consoles bar the wii. Their sales just tend to have shorter legs then console
I'm not so sure, the japan price drop is timely because they've got around 6 fairly strong titles coming out in the next 2 months over there. The price will really inflate sales.
In the west, they could drop the price but theres nothing coming out over here til late april, it would probably have a very minimal effect on sales.
it looks better in motion, the motion bluring makes the stills look especially bad. The shots of the foliage in the the preview and the lightning through the clouds look beyond current gen, but only just.
They became very stale as a developer whilst working on the Halo franchise...
They still seem pretty stale based on what we've seen today. The game looks interesting but nothing on the level of what I'd expect from one of the worlds top devs. Not from a technical perspective and there was not enough gameplay footage to even begin to get excited for that
