For any game to sell "millions" on the system it would have to have a 100% attach seeing as theer are only 3m consoles out there. Not only that but based on reviews, no wii U exclusive game is deserving of such a high attachment rate.
Edit: Also I hope these devs realise that a lot of Wii U early adopters are core gamers and so probably have a 360/ps3 as well. This is why games like assassins creed arriving 3 weeks later on the wii U essentially negates any possibil...
The wii U has had a "meh" launch in europe and a solid but underwhelming one everywhere else. Its overpriced and doesn't have its killer apps yet, both problems will be dealt with in time. People need to so dramatic and a system to be failure.
The system will do fine and sell a minimum of 40m worldwide by the end of its life and by the years end it will be selling at a profit

Not only that but I think it will probably sell more units on the Wii U then, then the 1st game did across both the 360/ps3. Not only will it being an exclusive provide it with free promotion and added hype, there will also be less competition in regards to the wii U software line.
Makes sense, I have no Idea why they would release destiny and Cod is the same quarter. I imagine destiny will be pushed til May 2014. Its a shame, Having it at the 720s launch could have swayed alot of people next gen purchase IMO.

LOOOOL!!! last time I checked, an 80 metacritic score does not equate to a must have game.
LBP is the only game on your list which I would say was "lauded' by the critics. And not to favour negative reviews over the positive ones but especially in the case of gravity rush, the sites people actually visit gave the games more closer 7/10.
But I don't need to argue with you, if you think a strong library of quality titles...

Right, well why don't you list all the amazing AAA titles which have been universally lauded by critics. Try to avoid 4 year old ports aka Persona 4.

I need to see it in motion but so far the visuals look dissapointing. This could be any PC game released in the last few years. I'm expecting even the early titles to top anything we've seen from PC so far (without mods).
Oh well, we won't have to wait long till ps4's reveal at least.
I'm pretty sure people are alluding to it being a current gen title being ported to a next gen system for its launch. I assume the ps4 versions will look a faire bit better (if there is one).
Software draught confirmed. Its a shame as the system picked up quite a bit of momentum over christmas. Hopefully the feb 20th will reveal some more vita titles before the obvious PS4 unveiling, I know its not gonna happen but I'm still hoping for a surprise FF Type 0 port for the summer.

Consoles don't actually carry around their own unique development costs figures. Its down to the developers to budget their games. Just because you're producing a game for a powerfull system it does not mean you are then required try and utilise all of its power. You can have a system 10x more powerfull then the ps3, yet produce a game which looks like it was made for the snes. And in reality its actually cheaper to develop for the more powerful platform because it means that you dont...
The leap between the ps2 to ps3/360 was f-ing huge!!! It doesn't need to be as big for it to still be huge leap over what we currently have.
People just need to except that each developer/publishers have their own internal concept of what a "next-gen" is. So debating the term is pointless.
What is interesting though is that this implies that the ps3/720 will be a huge leap above the Wii U. Something which sounds obvious but a lot of people have been saying that they expect the new systems to only be marginly more powerful. Similar to dreamcast vs ps2.

Uses motion controller for precision aiming is actually what I'm most excited about. I was shocked when I played uncharted GA and found that the gyroscope aiming was for the most part more accurate then using the analoge sticks. No other games have utilised the function that well.
