Why are people so sensitive about these comparisons. I don't even own a PC but would still like to see what I'm missing out on.
The only pointless comparisons are the ps3/360 ones where you need a microscope to see the differences.
Its called art style.
That shade of green is just Eww
lol, microsofts advertising is normally quite good actually.
@ginsunuva
If its inconsistent it might. Theres nothing more annoying then choppy cutscenes. But of course simple things like resolution, better anti aliasing, cleaner depth of field (which is used a lot in the game). The typical things you get whilst toggling PC settings. Just making the point that it doesn't need to be a significant improvement to be validated.
:(
They both look stunning, everyone wins!!!
If the ps4 can provide a smoother experience, then why not? Even if the difference is as little as framerate, its still enough to warrant a port. If you're looking forward to this game I don't see why you wouldn't want a slightly improved version on less restrictive hardware.
Obviously from a marketing perspective they have to be careful they don't undersell the PS4's power by publishing such titles on it, but 3rd parties are going to do it anyway with the...
There will definitely be repercussions for team Ico though. As lovely as Sony may seem, they are still a business and I doubt they will allow a game they are funding to enter another 8year dev cycle like The Last Guardian
polyphonic can get away with it because their games sell 7m and upward.
looool
Wow, cannot believe sony wasted their efforts on this...
Shouldn't they be bringing over Final Fantasy Type 0 or something, a game people actually want to play.
I don't think it'll be worth the money... Sorry insomniac, I used to love them but recently I'm not impressed by their efforts. Then again I'd love to see them tackle a new Action adventure IP.
Late is better then never, but all of the HD collections should of launched on the PSVita
If he bought the wii U for first party games, they are obviously coming and we'll see them all (minus new zelda) at E3. selling the system makes no sense..
For the sake of the systems future, its important receives big franchises to generate hardware sales and thus quality 3rd party support. Unless of course you are happy to live off remakes and indie titles for the rest of the Vita's life.
What would the point of that?
I'm pretty sure this is not being handled by a team of 50+ people... e.i, its not being made in place of any new titles, at most it'll probably delay whatever else they're cooking up few months.
I hope the Vita version has good anti aliasing, thats been my biggest annoyance with the ports at the moment.
I adore XII, lazy combat and mundane story... but awesome world and exploration!
70% finished? I guess its a late summer/september release. It'd awesome if we could get in July though.
