Seriously though this might to more damage then good.
Yuck!
No sony, just no..
at least the baby commercials were captivating and memorable
I would actually respect activision if they did this, the game would have to prove itself worthy of next gen exclusivity. In reality though their love for money says this is NOT HAPPENING!
Too many people are taking drugs...
This argument is so tired... Why does anyone care how the media refer to the Wii U? Its not going to change anything.
@Mr_Writer85
The new level of visuals presentation will probably make those games more successful on the wii U then they were on the wii. I fully expect a HD zelda title to generate more excitement then Skyward sword. Same applies to to the metroid franchise.
If this is true, it'll definitely be tied down into some sort of strategy of revenue over sales (or profit over popularity).
Especially with these new consoles coming out.
Maybe its a HD remake... Then shenmue 3 would be exclusive to ps4. That'd be an awesome investment from sony.
I stopped paying for XBL and now I can't play Banjo Tooie, a game that I bought with my own damn money!
Anyways on topic. Fuck you microsoft!
I still eagerly await the reveal of the new Xbox, If they are brave enough to do this,it must have some redeeming features+exclusives.
"small form factor PCs can match the power of even the beefiest of gaming rigs"
Ok, but the deskop in the image is the combined cubic volume of about 8 Xbox's stacked together. Fail.

The main issue is cost. No desktop will ever be as cost efficient as a new console, which not only have the benefit of the c...
Re-modeled Tidus looks chinese...
He looks even further from the CGI renders then the original. Not impressed, so far.
@sherimae2413
lol, kinda but not quite. I literally meant like a connected world, similar to Dark souls or a linear Final Fantasy (X/XIII), but you're right, an open world would give it even a higher chance of success. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this game is a collection of stages with a boss at the end?
It will obviously have its niche audience over here, which will likely be exaggerated by PSVita's software drought but I wouldn't expect t...
Unfortunately the gameplay for SS is strictly japanese. Its essentially a Boss arena game... Those don't do well over here, a game of its kind would need to have a an overworld to be a success in the west.
They will remain system seller for the ps3. They would still be games you need a sony platform to get, those on a smaller budget will get ps3+the above games. But the vats majority of people interested in these games already have a ps3, and so by keeping them exclusive sony are only holding back ps4 sales. PS3 owners are far more likely to upgrade to ps4 if they can play these AAA titles on it.
Its a Win Win for sony, no financial risk involved. Either way they are selling h...
Those are game which are built for the PS4 from the ground up and will be far more demanding.
Beyond on ps4 will be equivalent to a HD remastered title for current gen systems. Many of the art assets are still going to be of PS3 quality, they are not going to rebuild the majority of them to take advantage of the PS4's power. Instead they'll use the additional power for higher FPS, Resolution, Anti aliasing, cleaner depth of field, better lighting.
Yeah, but thats just a case of the graphics ENHANCING the gameplay. You can't have poor gameplay and great graphics, but you can have great gameplay and poor graphics. Like I just recently played FFVII, still amazing, even though it looks like utter shit.
Majors Mask is just Iconic, nothing else comes close to mimicing its atmosphere.
I'd actually love to see the next game utilise the dame style as Ocarina of time and Majora Mask. Some would say that, Twilight princess did that but to me they are worlds apart. The N64 games have an almost surrealist approach, keep the body proportional and features archaic and abstract, just render them in more detail.
On paper, maybe....Darksiders feels more like a dungeon crawler then a sprawling Zelda-esque adventure, despite how hard it tries. Also the artsyle is more a comic book interpretation of gothic as opposed to real Macabre
To me closest a game came to feeling like zelda was Okami, It has that subtle, very minimalist, and quite japanese approach to world building, as opposed to the very blunt exposition you find in many western games, Darksiders included.
I disappointed they are still using the low end models for the in-game stuff.
