Firstly, I'm obviously talking about UK numbers, the only numbers relavant to this article which clearly reads "Wii U Games Struggling At Retail In The UK". The emphasis being the word UK. The 13,100 figure you grabbed is for japanese sales and every other link you posted is for complete different regions (aussie gamer??) or talking about world wide sales.
Now I based my info on Vg charts UK sales chart. The Vita sold 15,297 whilst the Wii U sold 14,020.
The money has already been wasted, it cost double the cost of the 360 processor at launch yet we definitely haven't seen double the yield. Theres no way sony will let it hold them back in terms of keeping the costs down next gen. They'll drop cell just like they dropped UMD.
Sorry but this character has no basis to be in the game. His move set would be forced and for the most part uninteresting. I'm not saying there aren't already bad fits in Battle Royal (fat princess/parappa), but I don't think they should add to the list. If sony was serious about this they would have launched the Vita with a gamepad attatchment with 2 additional trigger buttons and possibly extended analoges sticks if that can be done ergonomically. I personally would have loved simple menu/inventory functionality in titles like Skyrim, Mass Effect, Dragons Dogma and Dark Souls. but it all depends on why you thought each "game" was "bad". This title appears to be addressing a lot of my problems. My believe thats this game sounds ambitious/unique isn't based off the title lol, its based off the mechanics explained through the developer conference. Its like a mix of zelda and an open JRPG.

Conceptually it looks better then XIII and XIII-2 combined. But the execution at the moment is looking bad, poor frame rate and barron unconvincing towns. Luckily both things are sort of expected to be improved upon as progression goes on.
People are letting their hate for FFXIII/-2 get in the way of the fact that this game sounds incredible. Cannot wait to see the trailer on saturday. I too disliked the previous 2 games but this title actually sounds unique and ambitious, something which they probably couldn't do in the mainline numbered titles.
If starwars 1313 is a next gen launch title, I don't see any way these graphics won't be norm within a year or so.

I just imagine the 720 would need more because of microsofts ambitions with the 720 as a media hub and kinect 2. On top of that Microsoft can afford to splash more then Sony because of their financial situation. So it just seems more realistic for the 720 to trump the ps4 in that regard.

32GB of ram is a lot but I guess a console won't need to that much ram to achieve similar visuals. I'm hoping for 12GB and 16GB respectively for the ps4 and 720.
Why are you ranting? Its not law to buy a new console day and date of launch, typically only around 10-12m units are even shipped each year, no one is expecting the majority of the 130m+ who currently own a ps3/360 to adopt these new systems right away. Just buy it 4 years late, like you did your 360.
In the meantime, the rest of us who actually want a new system next year can begin putting some money aside for their arrival.

So I gues I'm the only person who played it and enjoyed it more then I did the recent DMC. The art design, the cutscenes/script and hell even Dante was a more interesting character IMO. He seems more human and yet more unique, even witn the selection of the voice acto, its just something a bit refreshing. Also people need to remeber that its a reboot. reboot doesn't just mean a removal of numerals from the games title. It means an introduction of new idea's and a different take on...

The problem with the ps3's reveal is that it was so far off from the actual systems launch, so they had nothing to show initially. If they show off ps4 at E3 and it launches in the fall, then I'd assume the launch games will be near enough finished by time of its reveal and there will be no need or excuse for those deceptive target render videos.
