if you have a really cheap laptop or tablet and a stable connection of at least 10-15mbs, Geforce now works convincingly well in the conditions. the only major thing i like about it. the games are also pretty responsive.
of course, a $1,000 gaming laptop can offer a more solid and isolated mobile gaming experience. but once again that is at the convenience of it's price.

“Yes, it’s true that for The 3rd Birthday I worked on the PSP version. The characters are very rich and deep, especially Aya Brea.
I don’t know of any plans right now, but it would be a waste not to use these characters.”
they better. i can only imagine what a remake would be like taking advantage of next gen tech.
based on gamer reception, i think gamers are just happy to play their iconic characters in ways you couldn't imagine before. it's a remake foremost, which grants a certain amount of freedom. and with that in mind, expectantly there will be new elements to the game.
My take -
from my perspective and enjoyment of the original FFVII, in which case i thought it had a very intriguing combat system. with lots of multiple perspectives you could play the mechanics ...
"Why Is No One Talking About Microsoft Exclusive Bleeding Edge?"
It is a game from ninja theory, it's probably not "THE" game from ninja theory as i would imagine.
considering games take time to make and this has been in development from way back as a quick cash title. i'm not a big fan of battle royal games myself but from what i do know is that they typically have a road-map, and will likely have more content down the line.
...
yeah I was kinda already expecting Nvidia to be working on new hardware.
in my opinion though, i think it's great that the next gen consoles will be launching this year, as they would have a price to power advantage over pc. apposed to the next gen being delayed eliminating the price to power gap PC will have once Nvidia and AMD start to introduce their next lineup of cards. also bringing down the price of some of their older powerful cards.
- my two cents.
"What Cloud's first meeting with Aerith says about the differences between the remake and the original."
they changed that too. dang. :( remakes are hit and miss at times. hopefully they retain as much of the dialog options.
that was the most memorable part of FFVII to me.
messed up if it's for other parts of the game too. he was a pretty enjoyable character.
can't imagine seeing the rest of the game this way.
we don't even know what the prices will be for the next gen. or if sony intends on following suit.
what is known from this current gen, online services did in fact change. with sony also making a change from PS3's free services.
with it being said, i am expecting both companies to cope through services in exchange for taking next gen losses. for the time being anyways, as we move forward through the new gen.

"According to Digital Foundry it’s equivalent to a 10TF Xbox One X."
https://youtu.be/qTYuYvD_TU...
correction, it will be offering double the performance in pure efficiency. (via RDNA 2.0 architecture.)
on top of the Tflops compute power it already offers out of the box. (12 TFlops)
"Next Generation Custom Processor: Xbox Series X is our most powerful console ever powered by our custom designed processor leveraging AMD’s latest Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures. Delivering four times the processing power of an Xbox One and enabling developers to leverage 12 TFLOPS of GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) performance –"
that basically confirms the DF chip rumors. this is now the third time DF has been correct from their sources.
all that is lef...
It would seem that there may be some companies that want to double dip on streaming. Or at least think of it that way.
With GeForce now all you have to do is make a single game purchase and the stream access is continual with out a forced subscription.
I guess some developers will get it as this actually promotes making purchases and supporting sales.
i like Dreams but at the same time there are a couple notable roadblocks i see from a creators perspective.
it looks like fun, but then from a creators perspective it depends on how serous you are as a creator.
For the moment it costs $40 and none of it goes to creators. this also poses a difficulty running a patreon along side it. because patrons would have to pay $40 on top of becoming a patron. which many patrons would reject the notion of having to pay extra on...

"This is a huge reason I’m against this streaming crap."
except for the fact that it's not like those other streaming services. this only works for games you already purchased. - it simply bridges a connection to your steam, Uplay or Origin index and loads your games through a streaming signal. nothing more.
edit -
this was pretty interesting. of course local hardware has much crisper quality and is more responsive.
but on a mobile setup with a fast stable connection, geforce now does pretty well.
it provides a GTX 2080 at the performance level.
A great asset to The Coalition and Gears. this however does give Gears the opportunity to make some visual changes. unless the Coalition remains decided on it's signature concepts. I can only imagine what Gears 6 would be like switching over to the next gen industry standard photogrammetry and 3Lateral Facial capturing.
Artistically, The hair is near on parallel to every render SE has made in the last decade and half. Since it's movie.
Not many may appreciate the switch from anime to CG I'm guessing. The original game did however feature near realistic CG for its time. The new characters are made to only match the realistic environments. While still retaining some of their iconic anime traits.
Epic also recycles some of their profits into dev grants. creating more new projects that are given chances to be successful. so it's not that bad for pc gaming actually.
"PC remains king, though, with 50% of the preferences."
there are multiple reasons why for that. the major reason for that, is that it doesn't cost practically anything to deploy games on it. so that boosts indie game development. and the last reason, is the types of gamers that have "console + pc" gaming setups. so there is quite a few reasons why PC makes up for a huge marketing number in gaming.
with most of today's games needing extra polish. not all games will meet their deadlines.
games are much more complex than movies.
"What Xbox's 12 Teraflops ACTUALLY Do?"
Flops is a measurement of a certain compute power. typically compute power is responsible for a number of hardware related tasks. it can be used for rendering and or physics. some microprocessors may also have dedicated hardware functions to relieve stress of compute power usage.
