a GTX 970 for recommended. you don't hear that these days.
another good reason why UE4 is a very good engine. very well optimized.
we'll see how this progresses. for the most part I can tell there will be a high volume of demos and level content produced from this. as we see currently. User created content is always difficult. eventually most hit the same road blocks. and it's that very same logic why not many users are able to bridge story content seamlessly, compared to level content. script writing requires identical input, seamless, especially when finishing a script. apposed to having hundreds of disjointed ...
i don't know. lots of gamers just love to buy the latest game. and that's why we have so many series spanning to anthologies.
it's difficult to rate pvp games at launch because of the way the content is presented.
most games of their type always launch with a limited number of content.
it typically prompts gamers and reviewers to revisit them for a second and third opinion.
what is known is that late pvp adopters typically get to see a changed product.

"I can't imagine that Konami would ever sell the few huge franchises that they own."
obviously. not with with their pachinkos also tied to the IPs as well.
they would also have to give that up. which i doubt.
no. everyone overlooked that it runs native 4k with increased settings even over PS4 pro. (as DF mentions)
and thought the console was having issues. they could have used parity settings like with the Re2 remake but they simply chose not to.
given that there are few supported frame settings on consoles. developers have to make specific choices for that. the specs equivalent to X for the Re3 remake on PC can achieve well above 60 fps.
using this metric, how much frames are lost is why Capcom made use of the higher pixels.
it's a tricky platform i think. with the internet connection thing. I think Geforce now is in a lot better position, because it allows gamers to fallback on their own hardware when they're unsatisfied with their streaming results. at the very least you get to keep all of your games and still replay them at all times.
quite a few have mentioned Jill's animations in the threads. (which apply to all demo versions.)

to be fair both the RE2 remake and DMCV have been in development for over 4 years.
RE3 Remake has been in development for like 1.5 years.

"He also said the cooling system will be shown later."
very anxious to see it. me thinks the cooling system is to the shape of the PS5 patent.
which makes sense now on it's heat dispersion technique. it might be more effective.
one thing is for sure. DF so far has been more accurate of all sources.
not yet for the design which we'll just have to wait and see.
DF quoted it as 9.2 Tflops, where...
I'm siding closer to DF's insider research they've been fairly accurate thus far. but who knows. the series x chip is indeed slightly bigger as DF claimed it would be in comparison to Scorpio's. not too many noticed this little detail but i was able to. DF has very creditable sources i think.
well this is probably why the series is always stuck in a rut.
some gamers preferred the classic mechanics where all you were given was a simple objective; collect some emeralds and reach the end of the screen to fight a boss. while others preferred some depth in exchange for a slower paced story. (get to know a bunch of characters and then fight some bosses. )
not only that but it's slightly more powerful than the original spreadsheet claimed. (@ 1:55 in DF video)
the console is 12.155 tflops, not 11.8 tflops.
i still manage to dedicate time for some games. I'm even playing some games that are from the 16 bit and 32bit era so. some gamers also take their games with them wherever they go. whatever works in knocking out the backlog of games. so far i got 70% of my back log under wraps.
This is insane news! how did this not make headlines? Cubic Motion is the lead company for mo-cap.
God of war, Spiderman, Hellblade, Ryse, The Order 1886, Until Dawn, Horizon Zero Dawn, Hidden Agenda, Squadron 42, Dark Pictures.

"What This Could Mean for Sony’s Future"
from their perspective, another source for them to tap into. expanding their revenues and fanbase.
why else would they be experimenting in the first place? they don't need pc sales clearly and yet here we are.
@ taco
it's not that per-say. it has always been known that pc is a platform that is free to develop games on.
with that in mind developers can collect residuals a lot easier. that is just one of the many factors that keeps pc gaming solidified.

luminous was not that optimized at the time being compared to where UE4 is at right now.
it's not clear though if Luminous still needs more hardware power to be on parallel with UE4 on some things.
as of last year the luminous engine has been demonstrating most of it's newest features on a RTX 2080.
so it may still require a powerful setup in order to demonstrate all of it's new advancements.
the engine does display quite nicely for the game. but i also think other developers have already made use of the same engine in many different ways as well. from Hellblade, Gears5, The Inpatient, Hidden agenda, Spyro Trilogy, and Grand Blue Fantasy Versus. along side the FFVII remake. and all of which have no resemblance to each other. there are many other great game engines too which may also get you same results. but for what you can get from UE4 it remains very intuitive middleware.
i disagree actually. you will still have 30fps for some games. and even the series X too. until frame rate becomes a actual prerequisite. given this fact, developers will always have to make choices with fixed hardware.
gamers will have to inquire for 60fps in their games or inquire to support options.
