I just wan't an online infrastructure that resembles something from 2006 and an achievement system. Is that so much to ask?
Hopefully Bungie is able to shore up many of the bigger issues that hold Destiny back from greatness, but I hope they do it without tinkering with all the good things the game does right. As far as Gears of War 4 goes, I'm pretty sure I'll be "sick" on Friday when my Ultimate Edition arrives. Sorry, I'm not sorry!
Obviously I would love to see Rocksteady try their hands at Superman or The Green Lantern, but on the flip side of that coin, I would be very OK with them trying something new. They are clearly a talented developer and I'm pretty sure they will make something that a lot of people will love.
At this rate, if The Last Guardian releases with any bugs whatsoever, it's going to be scrutinized for it. I want to believe this will be a great game like Shadow of the Colossus, but I'm losing confidence more and more with each delay. I understand that "delays are a good thing" but at some point, even that excuse runs dry.
I'm sure based on specs alone compared to the price, the PS4 Pro is probably a very good value for those looking to hop into current gen gaming. That meeting was so lifeless though and it's obvious it had a negative impact on the hardware itself in terms of public perception. It doesn't seem to matter that even with members media, who went hands-on with the tech, have had nothing but glowing things to say about it. First impressions go along ways with consumers and that stream did...
I agree with your opinion piece. It reminds me how Apple took the other route when releasing their new Apple TV, opting out of 4k. Since Sony decided on going with 4k, your wish makes sense. Apple's reasoning, according to this 9to5Mac post, was that the majority of consumers weren't ready for 4k. The post was about 8 months old, but I doubt the demand has shifted in so little time. I'd love to get one of those LG 4k's but the one I want is over 10k....so yeah, we're in th...
The animation coupled with the gorgeous hand-drawn art style is breathtaking! The soundtrack does a fantastic complementing the visuals and creates a very immersive experience.
I always find prices hikes to be rather entertaining, simply because of the initial reactions by consumers who use them and how it basically becomes a non-issue after a week. Netflix raises their price...people cry. Amazon Prime raises their membership fees...people cry. PlayStation Plus raises it's price...people cry. The one consistency about all of these price hikes and the ones crying about it is that after a week, they keep on using that service. Like PlayStation owners are REALLLLY ...
I've been playing this for a few hours now (on PS4) and it's definitely much more fun when played stealthily. I saw a few streams of people playing like it's Call of Duty and it wasn't nearly as appealing. Glad to see its reviewing well; it's a franchise that deserves more attention and love from gamers.
I'm going to pick this up in 23 minutes! I absolutely loved Human Revolution and it sounds like Mankind Divided is a drastic improvement over a game that was already great! Can't wait!
I never want to see a game fail, because that can always lead to developers getting laid off and studios closures. The bad guys at Konami are the suits at the top, those are the people I hold responsible for the Kojima fiasco. The developers work their asses off to make these games, and sadly the ones working on this game have the deck stacked against them. This game appears to run on the Fox Engine, which has shown before its capable of producing some impressive visuals and performance. I...
Seeing as I was never "misled" by Hello Games, Sony, or anyone for that matter, and since I didn't try and imagine this game would be anything more than what I expected, I still found No Man's Sky rather dull (personal preference). I respect Sean Murray's passion, it's obvious he loves the game he created, and I still look forward to future title from Hello Games, but I just feel like I'm just not into these types of resource management/survival games. Even thoug...

I wonder if that Mage & Warror combo would be ideal for cooperative play? I like how the developer doesn't let you share resources, letters, or money in coop; keeping that punishing difficulty right where it needs to be. Looks absolutely fantastic running at 1080p60. Good looking game. Hopefully it sells well enough where the developer can justify adding online-coop to this game or in the sequel if its warranted.
I love Diablo 3 and even though this doesn't appear to have the depth or production values of Diablo, the thought of this game with, its distinct art-style running at 60FPS, is very appealing. Play 2016 promotion is killing it this year!
Brut@l sounds incredibly fun and extremely challenging....I'm down for that. It definitely looks like Tron meets Diablo 3. For $11.99, you can't do much better than that. Play 2016 has been exceptional this year!
I don't handle motion-sickness very well, and normally I'd avoid any type of event that could possibly cause it, but damn; the whole thought of being fully immersed in the cockpit of a spaceship and engaging in space dog fights is something I've dreamed about since I was a kid. I don't know if Virtual Reality will take off like all these hardware manufacturers are banking on, but it sounds like it has more potential now than ever before. I may have to hit up a retailer to try ...
These are budget titles, and judging by their Metacritic scores, not very good ones. Coming up with a new era would require them to create all new assets. They just keep shoveling out the same generic gameplay, featuring the same generic enemies, from the same generic era. However, after the buggy mess (technically and AI-related) that was Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, maybe there's a glimmer of hope for this poor-man's version of Sniper Elite with its delay until January? Keep your expect...
I can't help but wonder if Nintendo missed a golden opportunity of building on the excitement surrounding the initial reveal had they included an ethernet port on the Mini NES. If they had added the ability to purchase additional games from the eShop, they could've done some serious damage. Don't get me wrong, I think this is a pretty cool ideal and I plan to pick one up, but good gosh, how this thing doesn't have an ethernet port and access to the Nintendo Network is beyond m...
Once you get the timing down and you're able to anticipate the enemies moves and attacks, this game is a frigging rush to play. Definitely takes time to master.
