I really hope Smash Bros is a whole new entry built for the Switch, but even if it is just a deluxe version of the Wii U Smash Bros, I'll be happy because it's FRIGGING SMASH BROS!
It's so good. I dig how immersive a platformer can be in a VR space. Really digging it so far. Makes me more excited for games like Starchild!
“Why did anyone think they would change from Destiny to Destiny 2?”
The funny thing here is that the community is mad BECAUSE it has changed so much from Destiny 1.
Pro Tip: You should probably do some research before commenting. You won’t look so uninformed and silly.
Oh man! This looks like a Day 1 buy for me! Cross-buy is confirmed as well, so I guess the Vita is getting yet another kick ass Indie game. Can't wait!
I'll ask again....why did Nintendo create the Nintendo Creators Program...if they don't want people streaming and creating content featuring their games? Nintendo isn't helping themselves by starting programs like this then are they?
"Why are people still turning this into an issue if they have The Creators Program ? Is it because they dont wanna share earnings with Nintendo or something ?"
The issue is the Creators Program was Nintendo's way of saying "Fine, create content. We get a majority of the ad revenues, and you'll get a fraction"
But now, people who want to live stream (who have accepted Nintendo's policy) can't because of poorly explain r...
Why have the Nintendo Creators Program then?
Well, the Nintendo Creators Program was created so content creators could create content featuring Nintendo's games and still earn a small percentage of ad revenues (Nintendo pockets the rest). What's the point of a "Creators" Program if they restrict people from creating content via live stream? Does Nintendo prefer not making any money via ad revenues as opposed to pocketing a majority of the revenue from a stream?
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild GOTY
RIP to da competition!
Housemarque knows how to make a game pop off the screen and keep your heart racing with high-octane gameplay. Hard to believe they have another game dropping in just under two months (Matterfall). Can't wait!
This reminds me of many of the RPG's I use to play when I was a kid. Surprising amount of depth and the combat looks pretty fun. Hopefully this comes to Xbox One at some point. It's impressive how these one-person development studios can kick out great games like this. So much talent within the industry.
Serious question: Has Housemarque ever made a game this gen (or last) that wasn't fun as hell to play or a sight to behold in motion? Geez these guys are good! This should hold me over until Matterfall in August!
Yeah dude, Wolfenstein 2 looks frigging fantastic!
What's really strange is both the Xbox One and PS4 failed to top the NES Classic Edition. I know that thing was in high-demand, but with how hard it was to come by, I'm surprised it pushed enough in its last month before discontinuation.
It sounds like Bungie went all-in trying to add substance to all the areas that Destiny fans had hoped for. Let's see if bringing in multiple studios to help will result in a much more consistently output of content for the community to play.
I don't know how deep the narrative will be or if there will be much level variety throughout the reported 6 hour campaign, but from a gameplay perspective, this game looks really really fun with the Aim Controller; 1:1 response was my biggest concern but this appears to be spot on. I can only imagine what it's like actually being "in the game" with some good cans over my hears. The Aim Controller looks very promising for future shooters in VR
It's a damn shame when franchises like Hitman and Mass Effect have appeared to run their course and fail to sell as well as they used to. IO Interactive made a bold decision to go episodic but still managed to keep us busy between episodes with tons of content and the awesome Elusive Targets. They were kicking out content pretty regularly for its community. Square must've had some lofty expectations sales-wise of them to want to part ways with IO. Mass Effect suffered from mediocre wo...
The music, non-stop action, and ultra-violence of DOOM all wrapped up in a 2D package. I see you can grab the Special Edition for $10 right now that includes the game and OST. Not a bad price.
I really enjoyed the first Darksiders but wasn't really thrilled about the second. I honestly didn't expect them to ever announce a third game but that trailer got me hyped.
The best will be when alllllll those people who have swore off Destiny 2, come running back and singing its praises once the game evolves by Fall. Right up there with the "I'm done with Call of Duty" crowd.
