The Limbo and Inside comparisons are apt I see! It sports some gorgeous visuals and excellent atmosphere. Really happy when a new studio can come out with all cylinders firing. I'll be keeping an eye on these guys/gals going forward.

This has one of the best sets of licensed music that I've heard in a game in a long time. For $11.99 you're getting a ton of kick ass music and a pretty solid game mechanically speaking. I love when we get these little gems that deliver far more than their price would suggest. Awesome game!
I can appreciate the reasoning behind why Nintendo went with the open-world formula with Breath of the Wild, but as a long time fan of the series, I don't want Anouma to completely abandon the old presentation. I still think there's an audience who would be thrilled about a more old-school looking Zelda, especially on the Switch since you can play on the go.
This game sounds pretty rad; I was a huge fan of Banjo & Kazooie growing up, and this looks to fill that void.
My buddies and I love this game. Once they add more modes, arenas (which they confirmed are coming), and unlock the stats system, this will be one of my main go-to sports game for quite some time. Rocket League is still my favorite, but this offers up the same types of thrills and excitement.
The controls - flying and driving specifically - and the cover system are weak. There are some positives to take away from the beta, but controls directly impact gameplay which is king when it comes to what matters most in a game. Sadly, I cancelled my pre-order due to the awful controls.
With the wacky worlds that often go hand-in-hand with point-and-click adventure games, it just makes sense that such an experience would excel from VR treatment. Plus, it's Double Fine!
It amazes me how games like Flywrench - with it's sub-$10 price tag - offers such an addicting experience. No load times between fails eliminates any time to think about how frustrated you really are and encourages the player to keep trying...and trying...and trying. Rad soundtrack to boot
I've enjoyed watching this franchise mature from a competent AA budget title to the AAA experience it is today. Obviously this is aimed a specific audience, but it's great that Rebellion doesn't cut any corners giving that audience what they crave: the best sniping experience on the market.
This game appears to look very good on the Pro, really interested to see how all the various levels look. Them god rays though!
Wait...are you saying people should be excited about the Switch and its lousy launch line-up, absurd online features, and already underwhelming third party support? o0
It's very disappointing when a game like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided underperforms but I guess it's to be expected in a market where first-person games are almost required to have multiplayer if they hope to be a financial success. Deus Ex is such a great series with its mixture of FPS, RPG, and Action game elements, but it appears the lack of any sort of online component was its undoing in a crowded first person market :(
Geez, this footage is running on a PC that has 16GB Ram and a 1070? Looks like it it never even comes close to 60 frames! Hopefully they can optimize this over the next 2 months, but seeing how Ghost Sniper Warrior 2 turned out, I'm not holding my breath
I'm actually relieved with the Summer release simply because this Spring is already swamped with massive time sinks -Mass Effect, Breath of the Wild, Horizon, and Persona 5 to name a few. But believe me, I feel your excitement and can't wait to play this!
I've seen quite a few videos of Resident Evil 7 being playing through PSVR and it appears to be one heck of a horrifying experience. Capcom has clearly nailed the atmosphere within the Bakers house and "being there" is far more immersive than playing it on a TV. I hope Sony is able to get more VR headsets out there more consistently so gamers can play and appreciate Capcom's efforts.
In regards to the Square/Marvel deal: Hell F***ing Yeah!
The art style and atmosphere are clearly inspired by Limbo, which is incredibly appealing to me. Bummer that technical issues hold it back. I still might give this a whirl if it pops up on a flash sale.
I'm all over this game when it launches! I've always been interested in this series and based on recent gameplay videos (and these review scores), this is a series I need to get invested in quickly! Glad to see it reviewing so well
@Lynx0207
Gaming celebrity? LOL! Oh heavens no, not even remotely close! His level of prominence among gamers is very low as of right now, similar to your standing here on N4G, though I'd rate him slightly higher than just "a fart in the wind".
Battle Mode was so lame on Wii U, it looks much more unpredictable and exciting this way.
