I can't wait to start the Witcher 3, I've heard a lot of comparisons to Skyrim being made. I'm skeptical of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate though. I hope it's good, but I won't get my hopes up.
For a game that would likely benefit from coordinating with teammates, the lack of voice chat seems like a huge mistake. The fact that you can't party up with friends until August is another glaring "WTF" omission. So essentially you are going into each match with people you don't know and can't talk to? Why not just delay the game until August? This is totally something Nintendo would do.
I think it's rather silly that so many gamers are saying Prison of Elders "looks" easy or that "it sucks compared to a raid"...especially considering most gamers haven't even played it yet. I'm hoping this mode turns out great simply because more options is always a good thing, especially if they are good options!
I remember this game being received very well on the iPhone a few years back. Glad to see it's making its way on to the PlayStation Vita. Trophies make everything better!
It's nice to see teams who perform well will have the opportunity to get some really good rewards once they turn in their passage. Does anyone know if they'll be changing up the formula for the other basic Crucible modes to reward the players who perform the best? That seems to be the one complaint I hear the most from Destiny players regarding the Crucible.
I am definitely down for the harder gamers! It's really nice to see these tougher games selling well too, because that shows that gamers in general aren't as put off by super hard games like they use to be.
I didn't mind the load times (I used them to simmer down a little, which in turn kept my DualShock 4 in one piece!), but for those who are impatient or hate loading screens, it sounds like your ship has arrived. I'm glad From Software were able to accomplish this in relatively short order with no impact on the games performance.
I don't remember much of a campaign from Battlefront on the PlayStation 2, I was mostly into the multiplayer anyways. I'm just really glad they included the ability to switch from first-person to third-person perspectives. I'm hoping the co-op missions are strategic...imagine if they were similar to the raids in Destiny?
I've been a fan of this genre for a long time, and just the thought of this game being a love letter to games like Metroid and Castlevania is all the incentive I need to pick it up. I listened to the soundtrack yesterday and it definitely reminds me of Hotline Miami, and is worth a purchase as well.
I'll never understand how a 7.5 is a bad score. I read this particular review and they all spoke very highly of the game for the most part.
If I wasn't so set on picking up Bloodborne soon, I'd probably give the game a shot since it's on sale.

I wish Destiny could alternate between 1st and 3rd person. It reminds me a lot of Mass Effect - which I love - but Mass Effect is 3rd person. 1st person games make me feel dizzy to the point of vomiting, so I'll sadly never give this game a chance. I can't even watch a video for too long.
Why is it so difficult to add that functionality into all games? Racing games do it all the time.

Exactly! Mine too. All the lights on my modem were flashing green, my router was all green, and my wifi strength was full. Nothing looked out of place. I just couldn't connect to the internet. Fortunately, we got a few hours of play time between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

I don't think the Silent Hill IP is worth "billions", but it wouldn't surprise me if that's the price tag Konami is showing possible buyers considering their business tactics of late. I'm not a big fan of the Silent Hill games, but it's obvious that many MANY gamers want to see this game come to fruition with Kojima and Del Toro on board. Here's hoping that actually happens.
