I liked them both actually quite a lot. My Favorite Halo games are 1, 2 and ODST. Then 3, and Reach. Haven’t played 4 or 5, but I will on MCC on PC when it arrives.
Just about to finish Heroes V + DLCs with the 5.5 mod. It can't be that hard to up the game there by adding more interesting stuff to the maps, new graphics, one more layer of upgradeable units, and tier 8 creatures and make a desktop game that will be a success.
Not going to buy it myself until 2021 due to the large backlog of games (Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Valkyrie Chronicles 4, a bunch of 3DS RPGs etc.), and I'm too busy to play anything in 2020 due to work being ramped up to the next level. I will 100% buy it, though, just like all the other Playstations and Nintendo consoles (except Wii U) thus far, including handhelds. The only console I haven't actually owned was Xbox One family consoles. So nothing casual about me at least, and I'...
We talked about this kind of stuff in late 90s when PS2 was about to come out, and joked about PS5 being a really strange futuristic device. Turns out it's just a box with hardware, cooling solution and a disc drive. Just like PS1.
PS5 Cross-gen title!
I dunno, this could work quite well in Tokyo. I'll look into this. PS5 is still on my radar, though. If I don't need a new device and the lag is almost unnoticeable with a fast fiber optic connection, I could save a bit of money with this. Not too keen on having everything on cloud, though, but we'll see. And I've been an avid hardcore gamer since 1985.
$799 is too high for a console for me, but I'd be willing to pay for it if it has linux capability and more powerful hardware than in a typical $1500 PC. Probably $499 base and $599 pro models this time, adjusting inflation.
Doesn't even come close to Dragon Quest, Shin Megami Tensei core series, Suikoden or Shadow Hearts. Not to mention Ivalice Saga (FFT, Vagrant Story and FFXII). Xenogears and Xenosaga however, are a different story.
The first Xenoblade and X were pretty good, I heard. 2 was ok, I guess. Waiting for X to come to Switch, it still has one of the coolest trailers in gaming.
Takahashi-san is a mean director, and has extremely interesting stories to tell. ...
To replay the below games I'll purchase a PS3 Phat if PS5 doesn't have the backwards compatibility:
Shadow Hearts Trilogy
Suikoden III, IV, V
Dragon Quest V and VIII
Shin Megami Tensei (too many to write)
Valkyrie Profile II
Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarters
Xenosaga I, II, II
Radiata Stories
Drakengard I and II
Bonus special PS3 compatibility wish: Nier and Drakengard III.
...
Great, now I want to buy a dev kit.
Nope.

Your question is actually really good. We already got PS4 Pro within that time-frame so what you probably won’t get is PS6, but PS5 Pro or a similar upgrade which will be compatible with PS4&PS5 games. Who knows they might even brand it as PS6 due to cloud gaming push from competitors, and possibly launching the PS5 Pro model with the base PS5. Things move faster nowadays!
I thought the first 2/3 were pretty decent in Witcher 3, but the main story's final act, the games last 1/3, was horrible while I did love roaming around Skellige, though. However, the DLC Heart of Stone was excellent story-wise, and the last DLC also had relatively interesting story, more Witcher-esque than the Final Fantasyfied main story which was essentially save the world from dimension hoppers who you can't relate to type of a thing.
I still think the original...
RIP Craig Goodman. He contributed to art that I will be sharing with my kids and family. Thank you for that!
In regards to the cancer cure discussion, all cancers are entirely different and thus would have entirely different "cure." They are just in a group of diseases, because they have similarities (cells eroding and multiplying to healthy cells), but in fact they are not one and the same disease. With current medical knowledge some aggressive variants are more ...
When did 55GB become modest! That's a lot of assets right there. Sounds like a high quality 15-25 hour action game to me.
I don't care what people and reviewers say about this, to me it's already a success! I just wish Suzuki-san and his team to be successful, finish the story, and try their best.
To me all the Steam/Epic store stuff, refunds and all that were handled normally and business as usual, and they were transparent. There's just a lot of noise these days from gamers. I actually read what they wrote with the updates and felt they were really nice and normal. Bought the mos...
The classic mode makes the combat akin to FFXII, not the original FFVII. Nothing wrong with FFXII system, though!
Yakuza / Mafia game based in Shanghai, Tokyo, New York/Chicago, and Sicily?
I'm not sure there's a market for streaming your PS5 games over 5G to your companion device. There might be something there, or it might be a complete dud.
