If it is, then that would be cool actually. It is an entirely different training and culture. Many of the ninjas were actually farmers that used kusarigama which is a farming tools and sickle combined basically, and they didn't have black or dark suits and masks (some rumors say this notion comes from Hokusai's painting where he used Kuroko dressed as a ninja, a theatrical stagehands who wore black so they would not be distinguished from the background of...

The first thing my Japanese wife said ”Samurai? This guy looks like a ninja. Have they mixed them up?”

But to be fair, later in the trailer he was a proper samurai, she said. She’s pretty knowledgeable about the history of Samurai and Ninja, and there’s a bit of western fiction in the mix. Which is absolutely fine! And she is extremely excited about this game.

@traumadisaster

Fair enough. Which numbers are you looking at? Because the healthcare system can’t handle the potential amount of the cases in the US. That is a well-known fact.

I don’t live in the US, but here in East Asia things have been pretty serious.

If the panicking crazy people are on one extreme side of the spectrum, then you are on the opposite extreme.

@TakashiKomuro

11 TFLOPS means roughly 6x the base PS4, and 2.6x the power of PS4 Pro. Your numbers were a bit off. But the bigger thing here is that we are comparing GCN to RDNA2.0, which would mean PS5 is around 8x-9x the base PS4 and 3.5x-4x the PS4 Pro power. Plus 4.0 gen SSD and new CPU. So it's going to be a real leap forward.

Yes it will be bad for both companies, because with shortages they lose revenues, and with lost revenue they lose shareholders interest. As a result they lose money, and can't invest as much in the future. That could mean many things, but overall balancing the supply chains is incredibly important at new product launches. Shortages are not positive for consumers as they lead to higher prices less software sales. Plus the opportunity cost is high.

Educate yourself here: ...

Consoles are using even better architecture than the 5700XT is. GCN is now for computing, RDNA was the first pure gaming iteration (including 5600 - 5700 + XTs) and now we get RDNA2 which is even faster and at 12TF. Series X will be mighty powerful. And pricey!

Actually, RDNA2.0 is most likely more powerful than Turing, or at least equal in terms performance per teraflop (sounds weird, but not all flops are made equal.)

A must buy! Now I need to wait until PS5 and the DLC for this though. Too much stuff in the backlog.

I assume you have none.

Is this all based on the data out there or your assumptions? Because overall gaming top line growth has been double digit for 25+ yrs and predictions are extremely positive. Outlook can certainly change, but I’d actually suspect what you mentioned is a symptom of rapid growth instead of an impediment to it.

I’m happy to be proven otherwise, but please present data to back your opinion up. So far the reality with controversial stores such as Epic Store has had almost zero ne...

It looks okay, but I just really don't understand why you need to hit a dog with that kind of a big sword 40 times before it dies. The HP depletes incredibly slowly in battles for normal enemies that it looks like a grind fest compared to the original. You could just hit an enemy once in the original at early stages and it was dead. I think they made the wrong choice making this an action game, or at least they should have higher stakes in battles by making it akin to dark souls and stats...

Won’t but I’m still allowed to state my opinion. Me buying a game has nothing to do with voicing my opinion, would it be positive or negative. After playing classic games recently, my bar is high! ;)

Nothing incredibly was shown here. Some type of a crafting game in a generic environment with Disney graphics.

For me Sekiro is a game where I'm always in the mood for it. It's the challenge, the planning before doing something, executing it flawlessly (or rather often not) and then trying to figure out the next steps. I did like Bloodborne and other souls series more due to them being longer and more complex RPGs, but Sekiro is a really good action game.

Control, I still have to try. Heard good things about them, and am truly happy Remedy is moving forward financially as we...

Junk food is unhealthy and tastes worse than homemade food or high quality prepared restaurant meal, but you won’t know it if you eat junk all the time. You feel what you eat, if you eat shit, you will feel like shit. I would presume (typically thin) engineer types would think differently and construct opinions based on data.

And the data says Doom 2016 was more like a combination of excellent music, visual arts, great level design with interesting locations, and aggressive...

Because Xbox brand is not globally renowned. That is a fact.
