Dualshock 4 has a touchpad and two extra triggers to cover the touchpad behind the ps vita. They cannot announce all those touch-based games now for PS Vita TV, because it's coming out only in Japan, and PS4 (read= dualshock 4) will be out in February there.
It would be cool if the codec conversations were made with radios scattered around the open-world. This way, they could serve as a gameplay mechanic (instead of a nostalgic-factor) and offer you tips to your next location or reveal side-objectives.

I think I get where Kojima is coming from with this design. I'm not sure if I agree, but I'm pretty sure the sexuality he uses in his works, is more or less functional and meaningful gameplay or story-wise.

I think it's time for MGS to move on. The tried and true concept of cutscene - gameplay - cutscene is obsolete.

Front Mission 5: Scars of War. One of the BEST games SE ever produced, the pinnacle of the series. Excellent cinematic menus and music is unbelievable. Gameplay and mechanics are fresh even still and really fast and impressive.

I really really hope we could skip 4K and go straight to 8K. There are already 8K prototypes and that will be the "final resolution". 8K does not need any 3D or other effects, because the resolution creates a completely real "window" to another world. It's more like 4D, looks like you can touch it.

I'd like to have a PS4+Vita bundle, one unified global PSN, ALL previous playstation games available to play on (PSP, VITA,PSX,PS2,PS3,PS4) PS4 with some small smoothing options and maybe even 2x internal rendering etc, new IPs with strong storytelling and intuitive gameplay, exploration of what you can do with games as a media through indie games etc.
Ohhh I can go on and on!

So we get three games and at least three sequels. Within seven years a new system will be launched and new IPs will come out and yet another rotation begins..?
I see this as a compromise of the suits and developers. Not a bad deal, but not ideal either.
Three years to develop an AAA title sounds reasonable. Can't rush inspiration, but maybe these games lack of it as default :P
I calculated that for a team of 15 it would be approximately 2800usd/month/each for the next two years to complete the game. So they just covered their asses for a few years!
They also get to do the game they always wanted to make with the rockstars of the industry :)
