Good read for anyone thinking of diving into VR development. A lot of it applies to poeple looking indie/hobbiest development in general actually.
Bookmarked the page and bought the game.
On the surface it looks like he is trolling Xbox fans, but he only got bites from the Sony side.
He's either a masterful Xbox fan pulling a double bluff troll of the highest calibre, or a Sony fan that misfired.
Ha ha Fishy Fingers isn't fluent in twat-speak. What a loser! YFGATIYOLO
Which is a shame when you see stuff like Roblox thriving. Spark was actually a really neat creation tool.
Project Spark deserves a place on the corpse-pile of Microsoft games that had potential
Don't get ideas above your station. Your job is to man the anchor. When the Captain says "lower the anchor!" you lower it. Then you wait until he says "Hoist the anchor!", and you hoist.
Whatever you do, get it right. The guy that spent 2 hours staring at the map and relaying directions to get you there will be pissed if the anchor boy messes it up for everyone.
I'm going to stare at the map, and then tell people to go the wrong way on purpose. It is going to be SO FUNNY.
Seriously though, I hope the game doesn't place too much emphasis on performing menial tasks. That isn't fun even with friends, and would be absolutely dire without them. Sea of Thieves has a lot to prove imo.
Depends where you put it. It'd look fine in a kids bedroom or whatever.
I've had the original behemoth Xbox One, and replaced it with an Xbox One S. The Xbox One S is far more visible, which is a bad thing for a home entertainment centre.
The white PS4 doesn't add features or anything so I have nothing to complain about at all, just pointing out my preference because I know everybody really cares to hear it :)
Not me. I'm really really lazy.
Sexy.
Edit: I meant to say horrific. Don't know what happened there.
No. No white is not in.
/stares disapprovingly at the Xbox One S.
@RPGSama +Forza 7 and... er.... probably quite a lot of Forza 7 car packs?
But that's just it, you are clearly not basing it on what Microsoft have said. They said "it will play Xbox one games at 4k." You are saying "it better not just play Xbox one games at 4k, I expect a generational leap!".
How would you even define a generational leap? What do Microsoft have to deliver to satisfy you? If they fail, will you look to PC or is your interest in power only a facade?
Your expectations for Scorpio are quite lofty and unrealistic so it is likely you will be disappointed. I just want to know if you were similarly disappointed in the PS4 Pro, or if you are simply posturing to troll at a later date.
If all it does is play X1 games at 4k then it would not be so different to the PS Pro. It is releasing a year later, so it seems fair to expect about 1 years worth of advancement.
What have Microsoft done so well in the past that warrants higher expectations?
Thanks, though as it is about to be discontinued I am more interested in knowing the kind of content it had that I can expect to start finding on the store :)
I didn't even know there was a Live Events app. Is (or was) this how Sony deliver things like E3 coverage on the console?
Thanks man, you just saved me a few quid with that grand idea.
Eh I can only assume you are being deliberately ignorant at this point. You must know AMD allow overclocking on their CPUs.
As for your 44core server class CPU, I'm sure it's fantastic if you are trying to multibox a full world of Warcraft raid. For the majority games available a well clocked i5 would probably out-perform it.
It's a cool idea, but my VR room always smells of timber and dried blood anyway.
I need some petrol and burning rubber candles, and perhaps one that smells of the deep nothingness of space.
If Platinum were delivering a dud then Microsoft were damned if they do and damned if they don't. We're seeing the uproar of cancelling a game right now, but if they persisted with it and published a sub-standard game their reputation would still be tarnished with the people that matter (consumers).
There is a lesson to be learned about showing games 2 years too early, and a bigger lesson to be learned by whoever was in charge of these investment decisions about 2-4...
