Eh disagree if you like, but at least reference the negativity. The only thing close to negative is my post about first person locomotion being challenging, but I'm a pretty full-on VR cheerleader so that doesn't tally with your claim at all.
Yup it looks like the white paper is quite specific on how to support Xbox One (S) and Scorpio in tandem, but more importantly... PC! :D
The PS4 Pro is evidence enough. The PS4 Slim continues to outsell it by a distance.
There is a market for powerful hardware, but it seems to be way smaller than the market for cheap hardware.
There is literally not a single comment above yours claiming that VR sucks.
I'm crossing my fingers that it comes to PC in 12 months, complete with touch/wand and roomscale support. Control pad just doesn't really fit Imo, I want my hands.
A quick and dirty direct port probably makes better commercial sense for Capcom, but I can still hope!
D'oh. First person games are the obvious candidate for the VR treatment, but in practice they are the hardest to pull off. It'll be a mini-revolution for VR when someone actually cracks first person locomotion.
Good luck Farpoint.
I game on PC and I find it really easy to recognise different framerates on any type of game. I just enable a framerate counter and look at the number.
Sorry.
You're right, it would definitely be much easier to catch pigeons if they enjoyed watching TV or playing Destiny.
... Cos it's sooooo good and has soooo many games that you hardly ever turn it off?
I was hoping to read some of these "rants", but couldn't even find a direct quote or source in the article.
Ignoring the low standard of journalism here, I'm sure MS are very upfront with developers about their project expectations, budgets, timescales, and milestones. The studios that agree to those terms need to accept some responsibility when they fail to deliver, just as MS need to take some responsibility for their part in letting down their fans.
First I tried Microsoft, but their console had too much TVTVTV.
Then I tried Nintendo, and they had noooooo TV.
Then I tried Sony, and it was juuuuuuuust right.
Look out! The bears willl be home soon!
Puh potential is easy to say. You gotta commit! Is it the best thing ever, or a crock of shit?
I'm leaning towards the latter. But I've never really been into portable gaming.
This is an article about UK pricing, so the chances are high that some of the people you "corrected" are actually British (I know I am). To make matters worse, your own post is rife with minor grammatical errors.
In conclusion, take your arrogant quip about education, crawl back into your hole, and emerge when you've learned some humility.
@thatgrammar Google it, and feel silly.

I'm just gonna speak like a pirate from here on out so I can avoid this nonsense. Matey. YAAAAARRRRR
^^ Sigh.
You either haven't been paying attention, or you have a very dry sense of humour.
@jrshankill RRP stands for "recommend retail price", and it is dictated by the publisher. It is not what I pay for games. Here are some current RRPs for reference:
The Last Guardian £49.99
Gravity Rush 2 £49.99
Battlefield 1 £54.99
COD Infinite Warfare £54.99
Overwatch £54.99
All RRPs verified on the official Playstation store. To further illustrate the difference between recommended retail pric...
@blady I'm not supporting them. I have no plans to buy a Switch, or any of thr games.
I only posted to give a little context on UK pricing as it may not be common knowledge on a global forum like N4G.
The white paper seems to allude to DirectX 12 scaling across Xbox One (S), Scorpio, and a wide array of PC hardware quite easily. Here's hoping that devs do push above and beyond Scorpio, and that 3rd party uptake is strong. Dx12 on PC has been a bit of a damp squib so far.
