Obviously.....there's no way they can justify that $70 billion purchase taking content away from other platforms.
Honestly speaking, $70 PS5 versions vs "free" on GamePass Xbox versions would be the best way to make Xbox look good given the circumstances.
I have zero interest in the vast majority of Bethesda/Activision titles but I sure hope this deal is blocked. It feels very anticonsumer.
I was impressed by the demo. Gorgeous character models, zero load times and a very polished experience overall.
As a casual FF fan, I bought it after seeing the reviews.
I don't blame them. Microsoft would have no problem stealing features like the adaptive triggers from Sony.....and it is not like Call of Duty is particularly innovative....
I love comparing this kind of review with other reviews on the site..... They gave Lego 2K drive the same score 🙄🤣

Just preordered after seeing the reviews. I loved the Demo but you never know....Square Enix deserves praise for this release.

Scalebound, Crackdown 3, Halo Infinite....very few IPs have survived Microsoft corporate structure (Forza is surprisingly consistent).

PS5 already has God Of War Ragnarok, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Miles Morales and soon Spiderman 2.....also timed exclusives like FF16 and FFVII.....not to...

The problem is not announcing titles, the issue is releasing them (and meeting expectations).
Scalebound looked awesome, so did RedFall at some point....Fable is far off, Everwild is MIA and so is Perfect Dark....Halo Infonite was medicore.

Sony has also really changed over the years and now they announce titles much closer to release. Back then games like The Last Guardian, FF Versus 13, etc. would go missing for YEARS....
