I was waiting for the DLC 😭 (said no one ever).
Is it though? I own a Series S. My first ever Microsoft console. I got a super cheap GamePass deal through a friend who works at Microsoft.
I haven't played it in MONTHS. I enjoyed finally playing Sunset Overdrive.....I played Halo Infinite (mediocre AF)...Forza was good and I liked playing Psychonauts 2 for "free".
I've been playing FF16 and already reserved Spiderman 2, loving Pikmin 1 and 2 on Switch and waiting for 4 (not to mention ...
And I think this shows why Microsoft has struggled to release GOTY contenders for a few years now (other than Forza).
Insomniac's output is particularly impressive IMO, but Guerrilla is not far behind. God of War was also stellar. Ghost of Tsushima was another brilliant new IP. And even Astrobot found an audience.
3 million for a PS5 only title ar $70 is actually really impressive (also coming from a series that has seen better days).
Happy that this game is getting good sales AND reviews.
I wonder if he has a journal to keep track of his lies 🤔 (probably not, since this is already a mess).
I would love to see their attach rates (probably abysmal). It seems like most people get Beat Saber and maybe buy a game or two.
Do they even have the amount of content to sustain a subscription? 😅
They are giving nepokid vibes 🤣 I'm profitable as long as my dad pays my rent, my credit cards, my gasoline and my education....the rest is ALL ME.
He should be transparent then and share actual PROFITS of the Xbox division (including Gamepass). They often mention revenue, but never profit.
If they are willing to spend $70 billion dollars, I think it is reasonable to know where the money is coming from 🤷♂️
I would love it if they are forced to actually disclose hardware sales AND profits. I mean, if they are trying to spend $70B dollars, the least they should do is explain where the money is coming from....
Well, they have spent the last 20 years mostly mismanaging studios and destroying IP....maybe that's why they are willing to just throw $70B at the problem and hope for the best.
They can be as confused as they want. Sadly Microsoft is their new owner and decides the destiny of all their titles 🤷♂️
How does this benefit consumers at all?
I'm not surprised that they are trying to buy anything they can after a decade and billions of dollars with very little to show for it in terms of market share and first party IP.
"This email is old" says Microsoft as they try to drop $70B buying Activision 🙄
And this is exactly why Microsoft panicked and now is trying to just buy Activision for a cool $70B.
They know they can't grow their own studios.
I wouldn't panic....PS5 titles seem to have Nintendo like legs lately. The fact that GOW:Ragnarok is still #6 in the UK is very surprising.
Many people seem to favor downloads lately as well. I would give it at least 6 months before we can actually tell how well the game did.
Mmmmm.....no.
They still seem to struggle even releasing AAA titles regularly (Sonic Frontiers was ok, but hardly the GOTY it deserves to be). The last thing they need is the burden or having to make hardware.
Lol.....I keep thinking of Judge Judy with his recent statements.
"The truth is very simple....when stories get really complicated it usually means people are lying".
It really feels like every day we learn something the game won't do insteaf of things it will.....
Really curious about reviews....
If it takes $70 billion to make you competitive in any specific market, you probably don't belong there.
They should get the hint .....
"We didn't even know Activision made that title".
At this point I wouldn't be surprised to read that statement.
