As usual, they are just promising great things to come in the future.
The Series X has been completely crippled by the Series S and very, very few titles actually take advantage of the hardware.
As a huge fan of their single player content I hate to say I am a little concerned.
The fact that we know so little about their first party titles seems to be due to their focus on live service games (a huge mistake IMO).
3 years in, we still have no idea what Naughty Dogs is up to....Sucker Punch, Team Asobi, Blue Point, Media Molecule, Bend, London Studio.
I mean, I'm sure they are making SOMETHING but we should have at least a te...
Honestly curious. I don't think we will see anything Switch 2 related at all and it says games releasing this winter.....
We already have Mario RPG and Mario Wonder.
Maybe an update for Princess Peach & Luigi's Mansion? I would love a new Donkey Kong but I just can't see it releasing this year....
Lol....those 3 million FF16 players paid $70 for each copy (more if you include the Deluxe Editions)...also the number is probably higher now.
Starfield's 6 million players probably come mostly from GamePass....very unlikely to be generating a lot of revenue, let alone profit.
Disjointed is the biggest offender IMO. The mediocre space travel, the loading screens, etc really make it look and feel like a re-release of an old game.
My husband just started playing (maybe 3 hours in or so). We have a Series S but mostly play PS5.
The loading screens truly stand out....they appear in the most random places. Open a door? Loading. Go somewhere? Loading.
All the characters look kinda wonky as well (early PS4 levels). Hoping it gets better.....but certainly not a 10.
The power of "free".
I have GamePass so I'll probably try it this weekend but otherwise would not pay $60~70 for it.
Didn't they brag at some point about RedFall having over a million players? 😅
Lol....this is one of the most ridiculous articles yet 🤣
Is that even debatable? I mean, one actually let's you get on a ship and fly to space while the other shows you a glorified loading screen.
That's great news!!! Seems like a small studio that got the success they deserve.
I had a PSVR and I loved some of the experiences but didn't play it that much.
I felt $550 for PSVR2 was justified but also too high for casual use. I live in Japan and you can easily find second hand units for around $350 in pristine condition. I pulled the trigger and I am glad I did.
The system is MUCH better that the original, and while it is true that more AAA, recognizable franchises would be welcome and appreciated....there's actually tons ...
I'm mostly disappointed by the loading screens and lower frame rates.....
To me it looks like a decent (probably even good game).....but it definitely sounds like a strong 8, not the 100 that some websites gave it 🙄
Only 2 days to find out.
Love how Xbox Addict gave it a 100 while IGN & Gamespot gave it a 7 and PC Gamer a 7.5
Which one do you trust 🙄

Same here. Got a Series S with 3 years of GamePass. Barely ever play it (I did finally get to play Sunset Overdrive).
I guess I'll try Starfield and maybe pay a month if there's ever a game I would rather not buy 🤷♂️
It is interesting to see how toxic and divisive EVERYTHING related to Starfield has become.
Personally, I will try it just because it's "free" on GamePass....but I don't expect it to be gaming revolution some are hyping it to be.
He also said that the only difference between Series S and X versions would only be resolution....clearly not the case 3 years in.
Ignoring Baldur's Gate 3 and then hyping Starfield as GOTY 🙄
Something is not right......
