Hopefully they focus on Pikmin 4 DLC instead. That game introduced tons of interesting mechanics that deserve extra levels and bosses.
Microsoft constantly talks about creating new studios but most of their titles end up coming from studios they just threw money at 🤷♂️
Remember when they hyped The Initiative as their Naughty Dog? It's been 6 years and we've seen a trailer....
Spending $70 Billion to increase revenue.....where's the profit?
This is such a mess. Since the stick needs Cloud access....does that mean you have to get ultimate to stream to a TV? Even if you don't have or want a gaming PC? 🤔
Lol....this is like Microsoft trying to explain which games will be exclusive and wich won't 🙄
They literally change their story every few weeks....
Another problem that this creates is that since games are not day one on the cheapest tier.....you may as well wait for a sale.
Many people don't want to pay $70 for a game (and that is fair) but we know most games get huge discounts 2 months after release (unless you are Nintendo).
$240 a year is a LOT of games if you are willing to wait for sales....and you will be playing the games you actually want, not what is being put on the service.
At least those developers are not getting laid off nearly as much as Microsoft's are......you get what you don't pay for.
Enjoy RedFall?
It all feels so desperate. I mean.....why would you get an Xbox console at this point if GamePass for console doesn't include day one releases?
I will probably just pay a month of ultimate when a game I want releases. $20 for a game like Indiana Jones is NOT a sustainable business model but they did this to themselves.
I will continue paying for games on PS5 and Switch.
The game flopped whether they want to admit it or not. The fact that so many people played a 6 hour game for "free" and still didn't finish it is nothing to brag about.
No day one releases? This completely goes against everything they've been saying for years 🙄
I had a Series S and I sold it.....literally no reason to have an Xbox console at this point. At least make it compatible with Steam or something...
I've started playing some PC games this year (mostly because I wanted to play Half-Life Alyx).
I'm constantly reminded how simple PS5 gaming is. No worries about drivers, compatibility issues, settings, updates....things just work. Windows is a mess.
There's place in the market for both (clearly).
RE4 is absolutely stellar on PSVR2.
Hoping their next title supports it too 👏👏👏
Every year they go and say "Japan is key to our success" only to have absolutely nothing for the local market.
When the Series S really felt like they had a shot due to pricing and GamePass.....I live in Tokyo and I've never met anyone who even knows what Xbox is available at the moment.
This is very American though....he gets a fortune every year while they fire thousands and thousands of people (constantly).
Such a broken system 🤷♂️
Lol.....gets a $70 billion check from your parent company, buy half the industry and then congratulate yourself for all the content you got.
Is he for real? The level of entitlement and privilege is gross.
I will believe it when the titles release and they get good reviews. Redfall, Halo Infinite and Starfield all sounded great on paper.....
Did it ever make sense? I bought one....my first ever Xbox. I had it for 3 years and barely used it. I was happy I finally got to play Sunset Overdrive.
Most games were clearly inferior to their PS5 counterparts and GamePass is really hit or miss.
I ended up selling it and I don't miss it at all 🤷♂️
The opinion piece is basically a paid ad for the Quests 3. While it is true that Sony could be supporting the system much better, complaining that Insomniac is not making a AAA VR game is ridiculous (the games he mentions were well received but sold poorly).
As a PSVR2 owner myself I find tons of content to play (GT7, Resident Evil 4, Arizona Sunshine 2, Synapse, Rez Infinite, etc) and we are arguably getting the best versions this year's biggest games: Behemoth, Metro ...
Xbox is dead here. They really had a shot with the Series S to gain some market share (mostly due to GamePass and buying tons of studios) but there's literally no content for Japanese gamers.
I'm surprised that Stellar Blade was quite popular on Japan (and not available on Xbox)....even Ghost of Tsushima did well.
The last FF games also skipped Xbox...
