Lol....there is always the one review from a mediocre site begging for clicks 🤣
Halo Infinite was my first Halo ever....and....meh 🤷♂️
I was sad because the gameplay was relatively tight (fast and responsive). The story was a bit of a hot mess but mostly let down by the graphics and facial animations.
Some of the stages were also pretty generic....mostly shiny corridors with nothing to see or do.
I love how Insomniac is one of the very few studios releasing AAA quality titles regularly, without crunch (according to their employees).
It can be done 🤷♂️
Lol....fix Bing, Explorer, Skype, Windows Phones....
As a Series S owner, it already feels like developers are constantly apologizing for mediocre performance (something Microsoft assured would not be the case).
Even Halo Infinite, a AAA first-party release is a blurry mess at times with less than stellar graphics.
The actual question is: Does it have to compete with modern racing sims?
Gran Turismo has always been for car enthusiasts and that remains with GT7.
The attention to detail, the car museum and interviews with the designers, the photo mode....
Really curious about this one. I was not a fan of GT Sport but after a few VERY needed updates, it turned out to be a very good game.
Suffering through the licenses without loading times might be the best thing to ever happen!
Will they deliver though? This sounds like yet another project that was announced WAY too early. Maybe 2023/2024?
Four days before review and clear embargo.
They definitely expect great things 🔥
We know it's going to be good....the question is how good?
I expect around 91 Metacritic and slightly lower for the PS4 version.
As usual with Microsoft....it's all about the wording. "Existing" is the key word here.
Phil Spencer has a history of calculated PR lies....
Also interesting to see that Activision is keeping the disgusting CEO 🤷♂️
It was interesting to see a list of Activision IPs because of how many of them have collapsed 🤷♂️
Microsoft REALLY overpaid for them.
It's too early to tell.
They might keep big releases on PS5, but it will be a challenge for Sony to charge $60~70 for games like Call of Duty if they are "free" on GamePass.
They probably don't even know themselves. The one thing they've never been able to answer: How will GamePass make a profit?
I mean....just by buying Bethesda and Activision they spent $77 Billion dollars.....that would require millions more sub...
This is really bad for the video game industry. Having some monolithic mega corporation come in and buy up all of the publishers always ends up being bad down the road. I can’t believe anyone would cheer on this blatant attempt at corporate hegemony. Like seriously, there’s nothing organic about this. This isn’t Microsoft taking a shot on new development studios that have been making good content, where Microsoft has a good working relationship with them and sees potential in their growth, th...
Couldn't agree more. It is extremely worrying the way Microsoft is creating a total monopoly by wasting billions of dollars instead of innovating.
This is sponsored by an ancient OS. There is no way their gaming division could make this kind of purchase on its own.
Microsoft literally throwing money at the problem to hide their inability to create successful new IPs for years.
This is how you end up with a monopoly.
They are spending billions from an old and hated OS to literally own every studio 🤮
I don't think Returnal is underrated 🤔
People talked about it a lot and it seems to have sold well. It is a harcore and even niche game (and a new IP).
It is also Housemarque's first AAA release at $70.
It got very good reviews with the main complaint being the save system (or lack of it).
Wait....Stadia has fans?
It would be interestibg to see if that's translated to profits as well.
Games like Halo used to sell a TON of copies at full price and now they are "free" on Gamepass.
Most publisher's have mentioned that is nearly impossible to break even with the current user base. I bought a Series S (first time I own an Xbox console) to go with my PS5.
I've spent approx $600 on PS5 software and $0 on Xbox (I did get 3 years o...
Sounds like a HUGE generational leap over the original. The fact that there's no "processing unit" or camera required make it a winner already. The controllers are also a huge improvement.
Hopefully down the road, a wireless adapter can be released (my ONE complaint, even though a single type-C is not bad).
I'm it worked flawlessly from me using a PS4 disc. Immediately prompted a PS5 upgrade.
Uncharted and FFVII were both an absolute MESS due to the PSPlus licenses 🙄
