Mentioning size is odd since you can get a $300 smartphone with better specs than the switch.
And at this point, games are clearly not doing fine and that's the main complain. Many games on Switch have abysmal frame rates and very low resolution.
(Legends of Hyrule being one of those games)
Well....Craig made us smile for months 🤣
They don't need hype, they need to deliver.
Susprisingly good! And certainly much better than Ps Plus 🙄
I live in Tokyo and bought a Series S.
I have no intention of buying a single game for it other that what's available on GamePass (I got 3 years for $80).
Meanwhile I own at least 7 physical games on PS5.
Not hard to see why retailers around here have zero reason to bother stocking Microsoft consoles.
I bought one and don't regret it.
PS5 is my main console and I go there for my true next-gen fix.
Series S is my basic Gamepass machine (I got 3 years for $2 a month). I don't mind if games runt at 1080p without ray tracing.
Already played Sunset Overdrive, The Medium, Psychonauts 2, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Yakuza Like a Dragon, etc.
I absolutely loved this game but it's certainly not for everyone.
Extremely unforgiving (but fair) gameplay and a general lack of saves/checkpoints.
Without tutorials, I would have never finished it 😅
The Flame Lurker and the False King (round 2) were absolute hell! 🤣
Well deserved!!! It's such a brilliant game!
I hated the first 4 hours (basically I sucked and couldn't even make it to the boss), then ended up getting the Platinum.
Such a well coded game. Can't wait to see what they do next!
The original should've been OLED 🤷♂️ I mean....4 years later Nintendo is still charging for ANCIENT internals.
At the very least, the OLED should've replaced the original Switch at $299.
But I guess Nintendo will Nintendo.... At this point, you can get an Asus Laptop with a 13inch OLED for $700.
They have been pretty much Playstation exclusive for years, so this makes sense.
Can't wait to see what comes next from them! Metal Gear, Silent Hill....something unexpected? I'm here for it.
I guess some people like playing games when they come out and not 5 years later 🤷♂️
They're not wrong. Whether it is your personal #1 is a different story.
But in terms of gameplay, production, graphics, story, etc. It is an absolute masterpiece.
Cant wait for the HD remaster 😅
Sony's Zelda?
A) This game is not made by Sony.
B) Ember Labs is a studio with 10 employees.
C) Nintendo probably had more than 10 people just hiding korok seeds.
This game has been a success. The fans are liking it and a tiny new studio is happy.
Why the need to be toxic and divisive?
It's had a pretty fantastic first year (currently playing Kena and loving it).
The rest of the year looks a bit slow for PS5, but esrly next year the release calendar absolutely explodes.
I've had mine since launch and I'm very pleased with it (not to mention that it runs many PS4 games much, much better).
Waiting for $60 remakes of Wii U games 🙄
At least give us Bayonetta 3 and N64/GC games (that's how low the bar with Nintendo is at this point).
Well....outside of Mario Odyssey (a magnificent platformer) they have basically recycled concepts and re-released old games.
The Switch is surprisingly light on AAA "Nintendo Quality" platform games.
Both are great games.
Personally I love the graphics and gameplay of Rift Apart, but Psychonauts 2 has undeniable charm and surprisingly clever boss fights.
Hopefully more platform games are coming in the near future.
Kena is next for me. Already downloaded and ready to go.
Happy with the solid reviews. Downloading now 🥰
I waited to buy because you honestly never know (Cyberpunk says hi 🙋)
Where are all the reviews? Hopefully this is a 80+ game.
As a PS5/Series S/Switch owner, only the Switch let me down this year.
The PS5 had the best next gen exclusives (Returnal, Ratchet & Clank and Death loop just to name a few).
As a first time Xbox owner, Gamepass introduced me to games I always wanted to play (Gears, Sunset Overdrive, etc).
Mewnahile the Switch collected dust. Other than Metroid there was just no game that caught my eye.
