CoD simply operates of gimmicks since 4.
CoD 4: Perks!
WaW: Zombies!
MW2: Spec Ops!
Black Ops: Wager Matches!
Along with far too many others to name, especially the scripted as hell single player, although enjoyable for how long it lasts.
I'm not sure whether the Wii or Smartphones changed the gaming landscape or not, but they sure as hell made a lot of money from it. Either way, I prefer dedicated devices over multimedia, especially a handheld gaming device over an iPhone.
I pity the people who were actually expecting this game to be remotely good.
I have the exact same experiences :D
I loved playing Twisted Metal even though I absolutely sucked at it, since I was only about 6 or 7 when I used to play it.
@TGM
Obviously, people who don't have a gaming PC want to know how it will look on consoles. The world doesn't revolve around what only you have.
MAG's pretty damn modern day. 2025 with the same guns as today, only with fancy repair and medical kits that BF:BC2 has.
Holy crap... that actually sounds quite reasonable. I'm still very doubtful, but it's not an extremely unlikely scenario.
I wouldn't like a leveling system because that would just make for grinding, especially for PvP. The devs have great stuff planned for online, such as different game modes like capture the flag, defend the base, etc...
Also, there's a lot more to be added as well. The devs plan to support it for a long time.
I don't think you should pass out on Minecraft just yet. I definitely think we'll see vast improvements between now and the release date. I like the graphics in Minecraft just because they work so well. You can customize them too, and the mod support will suit your adventuring and "gamey" needs. No one's forcing you, but maybe PM me and I'll show you some aspects of mods and such that you can enjoy?
Exactly. After reading the update, I know that the devs have true vision. It's great to see that they're willing to expand more and more.
For it's $10 price point right now, I give it a 10 off the bat. It also has so much potential for later, as well as constant support by the devs. This really shows why Indie games are so great.
I couldn't have said it better myself. I stopped gaming as much for a while to catch up on school work and real life. Then I got Terraria. The rest you can infer yourself.
Definitely do. Amazing game with incredible value. Only $10 for over 30 hours not including multiplayer. Devs are also promising a large amount of updates throughout the game's lifespan. I recommend it to everyone.
Firstly, Blackboijones, stop making idiotic statements like that.
Secondly, Shok, they didn't directly say that. They said that they wouldn't give the competition an advantage in terms of release time and price point. Not completely meaning a really low-powered system. Both the 360 and PS3 are fairly close in terms of hardware with a large initial difference of price and time of release.
Hell yes. I loved DBZ:S.
Eh... I don't really love the name. It's fancy, definitely, but it doesn't flow very well at all. It's not a bad name, but I guess it's mainly a matter of getting used to it. Either way, I think they can come up with something better than that.
Damn...
Now THAT'S an awesome set up.
Definitely go for it. It's well worth the price of $10. I'm almost 20 hours in and haven't even reached the end game yet, or gotten online.
Hey, don't be dissing Minecraft.
