I agree, it's a great game. It has more value than most $60 games for $10. I bought both Minecraft and Terraria, and I love them both. Indie games have been getting better and better recently.
Right down there with Final Fantasy XIV Online, lol.
Actually, it does. It's inevitable considering the fact that these are the largest military FPS franchises right now. I'm rooting for Battlefield, although CoD is good as a petty distraction.
Super Smash Bros.? That'd definitely be something worth announcing as a launch title for Nintendo's next console.
Edit: Crap, a few people already beat me to it!
Honestly? How old are you? Just because they share a few key characteristics doesn't mean they're anything alike. I bought both, and I have to say each makes up for the other's faults. Comparing the two would be worse than comparing Battlefield to Counter Strike. They're both first person shooters, but they have a lot that sets them apart. At least watch some gameplay and see how expansive the combat and adventuring is. Buying both is the way to go.
In some aspects, yes. The adventure and combat is brilliant in the game, and the crafting is expansive. The building is nowhere near as good as Minecraft's though, nor does it have any logic (redstone) to work with. Both are amazing games and I recommend both equally.
I'm definitely going with inFAMOUS and WipEout HD. I can't believe I don't own either yet, but I'm sort of glad now, lol.
You lost me at "Call of Duty has always been a great series...."
Agreed, captain-obvious, not a BS hack-and-slash in order to appease Konami's selfish desires. I'm not going to be too quick to judge, but I'm definitely getting the impression that Rising is not a real Metal Gear Game. Obviously, we don't know much yet so I'll still be open about it, but I'm not getting any positive vibes from it at all.
I would honestly hate buying a PS3 at launch, mainly because of the firmware. You couldn't even go on the XMB while playing a game... that would be far too basic for me. I'm mainly a PS3 gamer, but I applaud Microsoft for the 360's software, if nothing else. Smoothly integrated, especially since the 2010 (?) update. It's easy and integrates into everything. PS3's firmware hasn't been lacking either, with many new updates, but I believe that it's time for a real UPD...
I do rage quit, but only under three specific circumstances.
One: My enemies are using exploits or overpowered weapons/techniques to win.
Two: The game is lagging.
Three: My teammates suck a lot.
This is why most, hell, this is why ALL of my rage quitting happens when I play Call of Duty. That and a bit of MAG, mainly because of reason number three.
Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, Aviator. I think the story telling is extremely well done because of those cutscenes, and I never really felt bored watching them.
Moose blood? Really? I'm Canadian and I laugh at all the stereotypes about us but that's the first time I've heard that. :/
Momma... just killed a man...
Eh... both are too mainstream for me. They just focus on drawing out everything and making all the main characters too powerful. I prefer mangas targeted towards older audiences, personally.
I love the disagrees but no one actually stating a reason.
I agree with CoD 4 being the best of all the Call of Duty's, but I still dislike the franchise in general.
Also, you get to play a part in the stoppage of innovation! Now, all the people who will buy YOUR game will lose all sense and support bland, mediocre titles, while ones requiring skills will be bashed!
Basically, never until all of civilization is destroyed. Unfortunately, the survivors would probably rebuild civilization until the current state is reachieved and then Call of Duty will exist again. Rinse and repeat until Earth is destroyed...
One thing that I don't like about Terraria is the lack of mod support. Devs confirmed that they're not planning to release the code to the public.
