It's never time for a Superman videogame.
And then Sony look at its specs and coincidentally announce that their refresh is just a bit better. I see the benefits of announcing first as they're coming in well behind at current sales metrics but there are also benefits to waiting, as we saw at the start of the current generation when Sony got to surf over the mistakes the MS made.
Ah the good ol' "Well nothing's perfect" :P
Really? Because metacritic currently has 43 pos reviews, 1 middling, and no negatives with an avg critic score of 8.5. Compared to all the other games this gen (PS4) that seems about right. Seems like the multiplayer component is what has lowered the scores a bit.
...Is one of them that they've sold 40 million PS4s and it's hard to keep selling to people who've already bought them?
Well one reason is that if they're bad, sales are subsequently low, and if you happen to like the game you can almost guarantee you'll never see a sequel to it. Which always sucks.
The annoying thing is in order to clean out the fan you have to void the warranty, while mine is out of factory warranty I live in a state that has a 4 year defect warranty on almost everything as law. So basically if I stop mine from blowing up from heat I void the warranty, or I let it go into meltdown and then fuck around trying to get gamestop to honor the law (which they hate doing).
Starting Alterac Valley at 9am in the morning, finishing Alterac Valley at 3 am 2 days later. Oh the days of vanilla AV and a University 'reading week' off.
Just got an email from Amazon which says that it's been pushed back into May so idk what this article is on about...
*Except for the N64 which heralded 3D gaming, the DS as being the most successful handheld ever at 154 million sold, the PS2 at 150 million sold. Heck the PS3 is at 80 million sold beating the 360 by about 1-2 million so...what exactly is it King at? It's live service? Not that great unless you're into shooters as I personally never played any games that relied heavily on an online hosted service so I feel that premise is flawed or at least tarnished with the dudebro cuss out yo...
Eh...I'm kind of ashamed to say I didn't consider the NX angle. I still think it's a wrong move. People who are saying that it's dumb to care about other people playing better versions of the same game obviously don't understand human motives and the feeling that you're playing something second rate is a real feeling for many. I bought my PS4 on release and may upgrade next year after PSVR but there's no way I can buy that AND a new PS4 (everyone on the internet...
@Crimzon Except we don't know that do we, everything has been rumors spun off a comment made by Microsoft. Sony have made a big deal about their affordability around VR, to then turn around and add on another $400-$500 to the price to get the non crappy version isn't going to go down so well.
Good to see Codemasters still going strong, I remember playing Cosmic Spacehead back on the Sega Genesis, good times, frustrating as hell, but good times.
I think he means from the previous RC games which were made before Insomniac announced their move to capped 30fps as a standard.
Obligatory "$32 through Amazon Prime either preorder or within 2 weeks" comment.
Even better, order it from Amazon and it's only $32! (Amazon Prime required).
Even better, The game, based on the movie, coming out before the movie so it looks as though it's based on the game, based on the game.
+ time. With the average age of gamers creeping up, a full time job + family, I know personally I barely have time to actually play the games I own as it is on one console. While I could afford the other I couldn't imagine trying to fit those in :P
However I think that this is going to stand on its own rather than in comparison to the other sequels. Looking at it, and from the previews of the people who've played it, there are basically no complaints, at all. Graphically astounding, tight controls, great weapons, great voice acting and story.
I do think that some gaming sites are going to ding it as "unoriginal" simply to find something as it basically hearkens back to the original game thus missing th...
Gravity Rush, Virtues Last Reward, Persona Golden, Freedom Wars etc. I think between those four that's about 300+ hours, add on other games that are more linear like UC, Tearaway and while it didn't have the best support there are definitely games worth buying it for. I actually don't have enough time to finish all of these but now that I think about it I have Hyperdimension Neptunia that I downloaded and never really started. So there's that as well. There are lots of grea...
