Microsoft hinged their bets on Amazon and Google being their future competition but the market continues to speak that dedicated local devices with impactful first-party support are what people want.
Moreso than Sony (because they haven't shifted course), I hope Microsoft realizes this, or at least acknowledged it when cancelling their streaming device and that's the true internal reason for its cancellation, not the "price is too high" reason we heard rec...
We're talking about a customer service phone line for a video game company. If you're concerned about possibly not getting service because of the fear of subjective policies, these subjective policies are probably exactly that to deal with customers like you.
If you're respectful, this question shouldn't even be on your mind. Every customer service line begins with a statement saying you're being recorded - that means their unjust denial is caught on record too and would be used against them.
God of War 4 wasn't called God of War 4 and Ragnarok the second part of the new trilogy. You read wrong.
@Fallen.
Yes. Which is why I said the first God of War 2, not the first two God of Wars.
Ragnarok being the second God of War "2"
Yeah, Apple One and (almost) no Apple Arcade for me too.
Lego Builder's Journey and Shantae and the Seven Sirens I played through it though. Lego felt made for touch and Shantae was like a good throwback to old handheld side scrollers.
Both are on everything, and I wouldn't recommend Shantae without a controller, but you guys should at least check out Lego.
"they always did with new generations"
Really now? Perfect example - the first God of War 2 came out on PS2 months into the PS3's lifecycle and there wasn't a PS3 native port/version available until far later in the generation in a compilation pack.
"Why did i pay $600+tax to play the same games at a higher res."
I mean your answer is right there. If you haven't come to accept that, then sell your PS5 and...
Orchard is somehow wrong, according to Sully who didn't read the article. Weird to call him out (for not being wrong?) in a comment thread that he isn't involved in. If you care that much about him you can go up there yourself
The APU is but one piece of the whole process.
Labor costs have increased. Shipping costs have increased. Energy costs have increased. An APU can only become so cheap and it likely also has gone up in price due to general component shortages across likely everything else in the device.
Auto manufacturers couldn't even put USB C ports in the newest models because there aren't any to go around.
What *should* happen isn't the c...
I purchased It Takes Two after playing on Game Pass. It cost $15 on sale and I wanted to own it because it was special. Because of ITT my spouse and I then played A Way Out right after on GP - two games we would have never played had they not been on the service.
Psychonauts 2 only just came to physical. Bought it immediately as it was one of the best platformers I've played. Ninja Gaiden 2 I purchased digitally before it got delisted from GP because it was a damn good ...
What? Duke has never been Bethesda
With the story and narrative defined, they'll be able to do here hopefully what Naughty Dog and EA Motive have done with their remakes - focus on the improvements in technology and ensure the most polished gameplay possible with engines fine tuned for the current generation.
You guys have an incredible lack of depth in your thinking, it's astounding.
Raising the base MSRP of two year old hardware is never ok for the consumer.
But I'm sure as an entity that likes money, Sony increasing the price and seeing unit sales continue to increase is irresistible to follow up on for even the least experienced accountant at Microsoft.
"WTF"?
They answer that in literally the next phrase of the same sentence:
"it more than earns its place among the best action games available on the Switch"
The director wants just both titles to be recognized as one cohesive story, not to be reduced to Part 1 vs Part 2. Calm down, people.
Is anyone playing on PC here and can speak to its optimization - either their full PC or even Steam Deck performance?
"Coming in 2023, this free update will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC systems, including performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, bug fixes and even bonus Creation Club content."
Free update on all supported platforms, contrary to the perpetuation of certain False Narratives being rampantly spread about a publisher "taking games away".
PlayStation purists are ruining this website more than anything else.
"Others provide a deeper experience"
... By tethering you to hardware. Half Life Alyx may be the deepest "regular gamer" experience in VR but as the state of VR today indicates, that game and the Valve Index has done *absolutely nothing* to grow VR as a medium.
porkChop hits the nail on the head and if 2023 can finally bring us a Quest 3, PSVR2 as a platform will quickly become as irrelevant as... The titles currently announced for it ...
