Cheers that they are hitting all the issues they wanted to address.
Now, EA and Capcom: Patch up your PC games already, traversal stutter is as annoying as it is reproducible: 100% of the time
The certain American company partnered with Crystal Dynamics and CD is just fine.
How's Aspyr doing on that KOTOR Remake partnership with a certain Japanese company?
Framerate was a bit jittery on performance mode but it did feel smoother during fights than traversing, from when I had it on. We'll see the numbers when DF gets to it.
The Quality Mode felt great though. It looks stunning, it's incredibly stable and the input lag didn't feel any worse by it. It was my preferred way to play.
Overall, wow this was one hell of a demo. Pre-order well deserved, can't wait for the 22nd!
Such a waste to not release a white Series X in 2022 either, as they sat unused with no new games against suburban walls
This is by far my game of the showcase, and the showcase itself is one of the best I've sat through in my memory. Banger after banger of potential, these couple hours were astounding for what's coming to PC and Xbox the next couple years.
TLOU Part 2 is one my top 3 games of all time (Elden Ring and a Zelda the other two). The report about Naughty Dog and Factions 2 really sucked reading - I felt they would've been able to do something special and new considering the delay from TLOU Part 2's launch
I'm far more excited for Spider-Man 2 than I am Starfield for 2023 so you're already off about me. Nice assumption.
Two years ago from a no-name blog with scrolling issues on mobile, great reputable example probably found on a Page 3 search result.
Naughty Dog just wasted three years failing at making Factions 2 until Bungie said it wasn't good enough, and Sony's last showing gave us CGI GaaS for 2024 and beyond.
It's ok that MS can have 2024 before Sony's ready to be serious again in 2025+
So no one's expecting this to be God of War. Thought so.
Shouldn't be making things up
What from Sony compares to Avowed?
Who is expecting this to be God of War, even one example?
It seems the negative narrative against the game is being created by people that don't know what the first game was at all. Shame, because it was a short and absolutely fantastic experience.
The lighting does look like something is disabled in the darker areas, but if the game actually looks like this at the 4K60fps of the trailer on Series X, I can't be more excited. The gameplay itself with Obsidian's writing and attention to detail - oh man. This is my second pick of the show behind Clockwork Revolution
Sony is playing both publisher and retailer for these Collector's Edition too.
As much as I appreciate digital and its convenience, I would've preferred my Ragnarok Jötnar Edition be physical, and Sony playing both roles means they have no reason to not offer a Game: Digital or Physical checkbox on PS Direct.
Remember a month back how you had to go into an actual Comic retailer to get the Free Comic Day prequel for Spider-Man 2? They'll d...
If Nintendo followed that advice when they sold only 10-12 million Wii Us... Or when they came in third place with the GameCube (even behind the original Xbox, which is still the lowest-selling Xbox platform)
I agree - this game looks fun, and Mirage looks like a solid return to the OG style of AC.
Hopefully they play as well as their gameplay can look in short trailers, though.
Have any chances to play yet, and if PS5 - any DualSense features?
Downloaded both versions earlier today but had to catch flight, won't be home till Monday.
Aaron did not say there wouldn't be CGI. He said there wouldn't be a trailer featuring full CGI.
The first sentence of his tweet: "None of our first party games in the show are full CG trailers" and he goes on to say what AmUnRa repeated. The parts of the trailers will be labeled.
How is the first sentence of his tweet being so actively ignored?
@Sonic About Hellblade, I found it most enjoyable as a listening simulator - if there's the time to go back to it, you should try it out playing with headphones. It's the only game I've binged start to end over like a ten hour session in that way before, absolutely fantastic but that's in full context of acknowledging the walking/limited combat nature of the game.
This level of trolling is beneath you, Jin. I wouldn't have expected you to be one of the types to do something as... Specific... as doing YouTube frozen-frame comparisons of two different games recorded in different ways with unknown base-upload quality.
Nevermind that the only thing similar between the two is the car. Different roads, different lighting, entirely different racing conditions and the PS5 picture doesn't even have one other vehicle in it.
