I'm surprised he didn't throw in a "herpaderp my physical copy" reference for once.

This website feels dead yet the few people still commenting *still* refuse to read the articles they post on.

Cool, the "author" even gave the AI that wrote this article a cute little biography and a nickname!

"Jorge A. Aguilar, also known as Aggy, is the current Consulting Editor. Throughout his time in the industry, he's trained over 100 writers, written thousands of articles on multiple sites, written more reviews than he cares to count, and edited tens of thousands of articles. He has also written some games published by Tales, some books, and a comic sold to...

"The idiot that done..."

Always funny to see when someone doesn't even try with their grammar when calling others idiots.

I've put 4 hours into the game only in handheld mode. Haven't noticed any issues with graphics or performance.

Lol at the concern-trolling, the game looks fine, feels great, and is fun as it possibly could be. Major GOTY contender

And their big grand showcase for it looked so terrible too. On rails, in a turret, shooting at dumb enemies flying in a straight path.

I guess the graphics were decent? Maybe?

Witcher's PS5 upgrade was a definitive edition, so I suppose both are keen to get a PS5 Pro enhancement.

I wonder if they're waiting for the 2026 PSSR FSR4-like Upgrade at this point - another reason for them to keep RED Engine maintained and another jolt of interest in Cyberpunk.

*featuring an AI generated image*

Use some perspective before blindly defending a multi-trillion-dollar company that purges thousands of jobs and livelihoods every few months.

This article is old, offers minimal content that seems like an AI summary, and isn't even accurate.

The Xbox layoffs were part of *Microsoft's* 9000 job purge. Not 9000 from Xbox.

I wonder what market research they did that led to actually seeing this game through to release. Their last attempt at a shooter was universally panned, and it seems the most vocal complaint about their last single-player game was that it didn't have a physical release at launch.

How that leads to releasing a poor multiplayer FPS is certainly a choice.

...As he announces a Battle Royale and the game, in freaking BETA, rolls out obscenely expensive MTX.

Why are you defending/side-stepping the raw truth that 9000 people are losing their jobs?

On top of the thousands and thousands who already have? At one of the very, very few companies in the world that could have "afforded" a $70 billion acquisition?

A better question for you might be, why do you hate so much the developers who were employed by Xbox and the workers at Microsoft proper? What value is the brand if they treat their employees like ...

Xbox's big push now is Xbox Play Anywhere. Them releasing physical media while also supporting this digital cross-device initiative is a contradiction.

I just hope the next Xbox has a disc drive add-on at minimum for BC support.

I am cautiously optimistic about their handheld efforts. The Xbox controller shape is my preferred ergonomics and the Xbox Ally X has a good bit of power over the Steam Deck. If the XAX keeps the trend though and ends up performing better with SteamOS installed, even after Microsoft's optimizations, then just what the heck is Microsoft even doing?

But if these efforts do claw back performance to where Windows games perform as good as or (hopefully) better than SteamOS, ...

Another article about Expedition 33 and Square Enix and turn-based games? This is starting to sound like propaganda.

The game didn't sell because it's a turn-based game; it sold and is enjoyed because it's a really freaking good game that released completed at a good price without gamer drama attached to it. No Mtx, no wait-until-it's-patched, minimal bloat, a self-contained story, no multiplatform BS. Just a solid original game that absolutely nails what it...
