In your retirement on a Friday night arguing politics on a gaming website... That is not how I see my golden years after working my ass off for 50 years. Is that what maga does to you?
They do not understand that.
They also don't understand the money it would cost to build these manufacturing plants.
Nor the time it would take to build them.
And the jobs by the time these new manufacturing plants are done? AI or mostly automated manufacturing lines. These companies want to cut costs, not pay American wages or salaries or health care or benefits.
I would hope after the learnings in Control 1 and refinement in AW2 for current-gen optimization, that they could reduce cost on the tech side for their next project.
Did you actually watch DF?
It was a long 40+ minute video, of them showing how it is real rendering. Reducing that to them having "Said it was all cutscenes" is a flat out lie.
Sooo. What's the point of this device? If you aren't going to do the bare minimum of following Xbox's colored face buttons, Guide button, or even DPad shape... I don't get it. To show how little the brand means?
If it's just to debut a friendlier app interface, then that should just be available to all Win11 handhelds through a windows update.
It's over 120GB. That physical copy isn't happening.
Xbox bringing one of their biggest IPs finally over to PS as a remastered Remaster is oddly fitting.
I somehow never played the campaign of 3, I thought this year would finally be the year we'd get a full UE5 collection
The State of Play yesterday kinda confused me on this.
The B-roll footage looked way more fun, explosive, creative, and smoother (at 60fps) than the actual gameplay demo, which was in a flat-looking metallic icy area in 30fps and seemed very run-of-the-mill in comparison.
Considering the writing team is trying to avoid a specific kind of tone in their approach to the game, I wonder if it'll be more like the B-roll and those quick exciting moments, or ...
Or it's the ultimate blasphemy - an extraction mode and the three maps it would launch with were different shrines
I don't recall hearing shit about FH5 here.
Only just a few ridiculous things from some special people claiming the player counts are fake or suspicious, even though the player counts are *literally displayed on in-game leaderboards* and are based on nearly 4 years of availability as one of the most acclaimed racers in history having gone through several waves of largely-discounted pricing along the way
You found an OLED monitor for $450 years ago and didn't jump on it then? Well guess what, Samsung's got one now for $549 on Amazon with 240hz, guarantee that one didn't exist "years ago"
You only wanted your dig at Trump; so easy to do but you give fake history over console pricing and fake pricing over a mythical $450 OLED
What business in this world is *not* going to pass an increased cost onto the customer in some way?
"Rather than absorb the cost of inflation, tariffs, and other costs, Xbox is passing along the cost to its consumers. This is an odd decision to begin with"
When US-based fake-journalists don't know at all what they're talking about.
Nintendo's listing games at $80 after their most successful console generation in their history. They even increased the price of the Joycon 2 mouse strap One Freaking Dollar because they can. Sony has s...
The developer of the remake has already been effectively shut down, too.
If you're going to throw Trump under the bus (because yes I think it's his fault too for being such a fucking idiot), at least be accurate about it.
Game consoles were $500 for the Xbox One in 2013 and $500/$600 for the PS3 in 2006.
I don't believe anyone looks at a single monitor "for years" - display tech is advancing pretty decently, you sure it didn't go out of stock and you're seeing a 3rd party reseller price?
...
It just got put back on Game Pass recently too.
GTA V is the pass-around sub title, and it probably doesn't even matter because everyone owns a copy or even two by now.
And someday hopefully soon "60fps output when played on a Nintendo Switch 2"
And there are videos showing the Switch 2 version supposedly looking preferable to the Series S version.
What does the native res matter when something like that is even up to debate?
It's not like Valve produces a more powerful unit themselves that can run this game in an acceptable way (if reports are as bad as the headline suggests).
Deck Verified should mean and imply that it will not just open but run in that acceptable way on the one hardware they make where that label is of any relevance. And for future hardware that is more powerful, or new OEMs, that label will mean that the game not only runs, but will run better than the baseline.
Same situation with AC Shadows this year, Hogwarts Legacy a couple years ago; PS Collector's Editions likely won't include a disc ever again; Xbox Game Studios definitely won't release a full disc ever again
PS5 Slim + Pro disc drives require online activation and so does the Series X
It's a shame. I think I'm done buying physical. It's an extra expense for an already-expensive PS5 Pro I want before DS2 and GoY, and they'll probably kill...
