"People"
"Didn't match expectations"
Love these words from yet more people echoing sentiments of others instead of sharing personal experiences.
"Wasn't the biggest issue that people had"
People who either had previously-stated agendas, and people who never played the game (the same people on this site still whining a year later). Based on how you talk about the game and its loading screens, it's clear your opinions aren't your own.
I agree. Still waiting for the expansion to drop but it's the first Bethesda game since Oblivion I've put 100+ hours into, and I know when I return it'll be even better than the last I played.
Let's be honest though. The game is still receiving hate, a full year later, because Sony fans are bitter that their favorite publisher has abandoned single player games in pursuit of generic GaaS, and this is just a means of deflection.
That's gotta be gut wrenching for the team.
58 on steam as a low point over the night. Imagine only having the playerbase for five full matches in a GaaS...
Ah so you're the gatekeeper of what makes a game good? Get over yourself.
It's universal knowledge that launching a game on PC exclusive to EGS won't do well. Add to that the lack of physical for those people.
Imagine thinking like Rupee, when Sony is more focused on:
Factions 2, only to cancel it
Spider-Man GaaS, also shelved
That canceled Deviation game
That rumored Horizon friendly GaaS
The Bend Studio GaaS
Fairgame$ (lol)
Destiny
Marathon (too soon?)
PC Ports
(Edit: can't forget Concord now...)
Don't worry, third parties have you covered now for your third person action RPGs
And Sony would rather fund titles like Concord only to flop with less than 200 players a week after release.
Ctrl+F "Epic" and 0 results.
Sweet. The less Epic is involved with anything not Unreal, the better.
Gex Trilogy was announced back in summer 2023. Has to be any time now!
It would've been easier if they didn't deliver it as this inconsistent product.
An accessory, more expensive than the platform it's for.
Wired, when Quest showed successful VR is wireless.
So many features and possibilities, but the first party launch title was an on-rails spinoff.
No backwards compatibility, when Quest 3 is fully backwards compatible.
No PC compatibility (until they effectively killed it), when Quest can do i...
That's unwise to suggest. Should Sony just disable Remote Play because the phone apps don't support rumble, too?
Hellblade 2 launched better on Steam with nearly 4k players. I thought that would be a low point for a first-party platform holder on a major title.
Redfall on Steam... Even freaking Redfall had over 6k players.
But Concord at the moment is not only less than 700 - it's worse than LOTR: Gollum!
And that's gonna be free to play.
I'm kinda excited for that one. Concord came out too little too late for too much, shame as it is for the developers.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor has a 60fps mode. Starfield even has one now.
Ha, and now even SW Outlaws has 30, 40, and 60fps modes.
Not having 60fps in Avowed is also worse due to the fact that Microsoft has been showing this game as 60fps every trailer they've put out.
Add to that - STALKER 2 is 60fps and only 60fps on Series X. How can a not-first party studio make a UE5 60fps open world title but an actual first party studio with all these inte...
You're pathetic and weird, stop with your strawman arguments and need to be antagonistic about everything.
I own the game on Steam and play it with DualSense on there but the features of DualSense are best on PS5 natively. I'm not saying that to refer to the controller speaker only, but the haptics especially *and* having those enhanced haptics wirelessly.
Where they'll feel better with DualSense, load faster with the better SSD, and be accessible to more than 2x the console playerbase.
At least Hellblade 2 may come to a platform with a controller that can give its immersion the full respect it deserves. World-class tech for audio and visuals but stuck on an input that's been static since 2005...
Bow to the CCP authorized talking points and content, praise be to China!
When I played through it back at launch, the Great Desert was the only area that had performance issues (Balanced Mode).
It seemed to be related to maybe a memory leak in that region; it only happened there with unstable framerate at times, and performance would be solid again after closing and relaunching the game.
10/10 game otherwise, loved everything about it and I'll be Day One for whatever they have next.
I haven't played a COD since Black Ops III and the beta is pretty good.
Wouldn't have given it any look if not for Game Pass. No interest in spending any money on it even still but it's been great fun. 120fps, omnimovement, weapons feel and sound good, netcode is solid. Look forward to continuing it and in the full game
