Did you play through 2?
I dismissed it when it came out, as this quick cash-grab from a greedy publisher, but got the trilogy collection on disc earlier this year on Xbox. Finally played it, and Minerva's Den - it was a really great experience. Years and years late to the party but it was really solid and holds up.
A couple crashes, and weird texture loads in Minerva's Den, but the joy I had in it makes me want to revisit Infinite too.
Are we in for another tier of Game Pass for just Cloud Streaming?
And maybe finally something about playing our library from the Cloud too?
Base Xbox One version of a soulslike with stick drift and a faulty bumper for the biggest challenge
The only surprising thing with Xbox now is how they keep on going out of their way to talk about future hardware.
From outwardly promising the biggest jump in power between gens, to thinly-veiled allusions of a handheld - it contradicts what they are actually doing. Things like this. You don't need an Xbox, you don't even need an Xbox *controller* just anything that can connect via Bluetooth, so a DualSense even!
All to play, at best, a 1080p non-...
"The biggest issue with streaming is the lesson that PS learned long ago and MS will learn eventually: it sucks and most of us don't want it."
The reality, again, is the opposite - Sony sells a streaming only accessory. Clearly they don't think it sucks, and neither do the fans that keep on making it go out of stock.
Add to that - PlayStation is the only platform manufacturer selling you a cloud-only accessory. And it's selling well.
Sony will pay attention to that success.
I enjoy a good balance. I'll do a long game and follow it up with a shorter one, or if I do two big ones back to back, they've gotta be different enough.
Stellar Blade took me about 40-45 hours, but I loved it so I stretched it out and did most of the side quests. Starfield's hooked me in on Series X since the 60fps update and I'm happy just doing side quests and not beating it until the expansion arrives. Once Im done with Shadow of the Erdtree, finally I...

The 2017 Switch is based on the 2015 Tegra X1 so even if Nintendo is using technology from 2022, that alone still represents a significant improvement.
But... With 90% of the players gone (just so you know - 90%! So I see every new scroll) however will they afford anything more than *gasp* Cardi B and a Squirrel helmet?
The mods that keep forcing these same Helldivers articles down our throat are on some weird crusade against this game.
I wonder how this duplicate article got posted here when the top article of the moment is phrased 90% the same.

Of course.
Huh? A Plague's Tale is made by Asobo, the Flight Simulator studio... It's not an Ubisoft game.
Deathloop, back in 2021, had DualSense features in the PC version.
They're only available with a wired connection to PC and Sony does a good job of including them in every PS Studios release. Third parties have been less consistent but some do include it with PC ports.
What an L take that misses the point of the tech *entirely*
Oh yeah I upvoted you too, totally understand what you're saying (and I know my framing of "major" is different than the article's)
I'd say it is pretty major though. Five Nixxes titles in one day, their entire PS5-PC portfolio including their earliest port Spider-Man Remastered.
It's rare seeing a unified approach like this covering years of titles. Nixxes must have an incredibly thorough and consistent tech stack to pull this off
I feel like the fondness for this franchise is clouded by how... Of-the-era this game was.
This was the first game I remember being almost totally unplayable on my old 25" CRT. It was exclusively widescreen and the text was so small it was nearly unreadable.
Was it ever confirmed if the respawning trucker hillbillies was a bug or not? But despite the awful readability and the jankiness, it felt so fresh and my buds in school and Xbox Live all seemed ...
The chief admin of this site has never cared about making this place a good community with engaging content - it's always been about clicks and viral engagement no matter how toxic or irrelevant/forced on the topic is.
Xbox is the lowest selling platform and is largely irrelevant now, would never know it by the 100+ comments in posts every couple days about how irrelevant they are.
Helldivers 2 is down 90% - no wait, 97%! - of its playerbase, but you ...
