And it was an incredible surprise
And yet *you* are also not addressing the points I did call out, which validate why I highlighted them - those parts read like shameless shilling.
Omg an open-world game has upgrades, so wow.
This reads so weirdly like a marketing post.
Upgradeable blaster, bike, and ship? That's not an idea; those are mechanics literally in every type of game like this. No duh there's a vehicle for traversal, Starfield is pretty much the only example of an open world game currently without a good way to travel quick on land.
You already like checklist activities but the one they've shown was organically generic as heck.
What a surprise, out of the platform holder with their most profitable generation ever.
If Nintendo stuck with mobile...

The funny thing with Alien Wake 2 though is...
The physical edition comes with a digital code for Alen Wake 1 Remastered. So even with the P you still aren't escaping the D
You're not one to judge stupid decisions when you comment the way you do.
Also stupid: Swapping out physical licenses to switch apps on a computing device in 2024.
The App Store will be turning 20 years old before the next generation of consoles releases.
Steam is almost 21 as a client; next year will be its 20th as a storefront.
Console players: still begging to swap discs to play games even though the games have been on the hard drive for over a decade now.
Nintendo players: *blissful ignorance of anything technologically modern*

How do you spell Alan wrong twice in a row, two different ways, with an extra letter?
The Dishwasher
Vigilante 8
Two non-BC and no-PC-version Arcade titles I downloaded recently. Dishwasher's sequel is on Steam at least.
I've also downloaded Ninety-Nine Nights II (shame the first wasn't available). I still want to download Burnout 3: Takedown before the weekend's up, though that is still the full $9.99 non-discounted price
Sony's left the entire pre-PS4 PlayStation library to rot, not just PS3.
You can't use your old PS1 and PS2 discs, the games that are playable are only brought back through ports and Sony's emulator (which is just as polished as Nintendo's quarter-baked we-print-money-anyways efforts).
Sorry you hate dog news - here's a game-related headline for you, the latest: "Deathsprint 66 is a hyperviolent freerunner that proves game journos suck at games | Video Gamer"
Yeah we need more headlines like *that* on this site, instead of news about a studio's employee perks.
Another thing Sony should do in their app is purchase-related too. On the system, you can buy a game even if you "own" it through your PS+ membership (whether it's through Premium or the Monthlies). In the app though, you don't have that capability - only to Download to Console if it isn't already installed.
A Sky name and color wouldn't make sense for a Microsoft currently marketing Xbox on Fire Stick and releasing ports onto PS?
It's such an awkward move it sounds totally in the modern Xbox playbook. Release it as a special edition first, before adding it as the pack-in controller for the "updated" consoles releasing in the fall.
... I do hope this isn't the refreshed controller though. Microsoft will have missed the point if it's ...
Sounds like it opens the floodgates for more Dr Disrespect-likes.
Also, a Google Stadia feature that was never implemented but was spoken about in a way such that streamers could invite viewers into their game with just a link.
Creepy and encourages creeps to be even creepier.
The argument gets even richer when you learn just how many of these blowhards love Baldur's Gate 3, and bought it day one.
The same exact online requirement that Hogwarts Legacy had, but no one here cared about that last year...
Infamous was such a winner its studio was given the freedom (after 3 titles + their expansions) to do a new IP with GoT, just like with Sly Cooper before infamous.
I'd welcome a 4th title even more than another Spider-Man, it'd be exciting what they could do with new powers fit for the hardware outside the limits of a licensed superhero game.
You don't make it the Most Profitable Generation by not exploiting your essentially-unchallenged market leadership.
