I don't like this type of game, but this mentality... If everyone who likes the game thinks like you are, the game will die.
If you want to go swimming, don't waste your time at the party waiting for someone else to jump in for you.
You don't know if they even had the option to get The Evil Within IP...
Even if they did and declined, I don't know what Business 101 would say about "Hey, our horror IP failed, let's go after another horror IP that didn't sell well!"
Microsoft should've kept a studio that they had no idea how to manage?
We'll see what happens with Bungie, the gaming industry pass-around, in 2025.
Too bad Sony didn't own them?
Sony wanted nothing to do with them after this.
... their last game was horrible, so their next game is an instant purchase just because of name alone.
That's a choice.
Do you live in a world where Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal on Switch don't exist?
This port I feel is less about Xbox One and PS4, and more for the Switch 2.
Did you play on 30 or 60fps?
I'm playing through AC Mirage and feeling that same kind of way about 20 hours in.
The gameplay loop is fun, as an Ubisoft-formula game knows how to be, but it gets so samey. The story also feels unfocused.
Did you play their Avatar game from last year?
Well, according to some people, there's like no new game news especially with no more E3 over the summer.
So... This here is what we get! Lol
The person this awful article is basing their story off of spoke only of this regarding the numbers:
"1440p/60FPS
2160p/30FPS"
He gave zero information on native vs upscaled. We don't know the settings and UE5 features used on console either.
But every UE5 game out now, especially one targeting 60, uses Dynamic Resolution. The one case where Dynamic Resolution isn't used with UE5 is The First Descendant with F...
It will be fine, but that's never the point of these weird articles. This just sets the stage for Videogamer's next followup:
"Helldivers 2 88% increase still below 50k concurrent players as fans await new content | Videogamer"
I keep forgetting Dragon Age is coming this year.
Glad that Obsidian will be able to have a couple extra months to polish and continue tweaking, especially if there's any feedback they can take in quick from DA's launch
You should check out Obscure's link.
Doesn't even include the already-announced Gears, Perfect Dark, State of Decay, and Clockwork Revolution, or Double Fine's next.
Information is coming so quickly this was outdated info before it even reached front page.
This was their "and beyond" for Destiny 2 as one journo put it from some earlier vidoc
White bro Parsons oversaw allllll of that.
Get the racist BS out of here when - look at the person in charge of all of it.
The most powerful white dude at the company is too busy buying old cars he's gonna drive once or twice to run his damn company and now they're doing their second set of layoffs under his watch.
So what the hell are you getting at.
It is a weird mentality to justify holding off on buying a game, when the gameplay sells you on it. Of all the phrases to use lol.
Use a different phrase then, to communicate "Yeah, but only if the cool kids get it first", since you clearly are more sold on the idea of other people buying it.
