So it's helpful instead to talk about how great you yourself are and how you don't support unions because *you* are so educated and well-off? Ok
@spss, how great that you're in a good personal situation. Talk about missing the point completely.
You're commenting to a post about an article that's covering a topic where a group of workers was actively and deceptively exploited by a mega corporation worth $70b. Some moved states to be in a job with promised benefits and raises, doing QA on one of the most profitable software IPs in the world, only to get let go at the same time that corporation reports reco...
Getting the full package even if you only own one makes this pretty reasonable.
Lost Legacy was just as good as 4 if not even better, I really liked the hub design that they furthered improved on for the early Seattle area of TLOU2.
What a damn good year '21 was. I've played 9 of those 10, own 8, beat 5, and am currently playing 2. I'll get to the final one soon.
If Guardians finishes as good as it seems to be going (Chapter 10 currently) I think it might actually top my list. It looks incredible in its RT mode on console, the gameplay/combat is solid, and the voice acting is so well-performed and integrated into the team dynamic.
Don't insult Spider-Man. He didn't do anything to you.
I totally agree on the gas situation, that was the worst part of the game. It's a motorcycle with the efficiency and capacity of a lawn mower until 40 hours into it.
Wasn't a fan of the acting either, but I stuck through the game because traversal and driving (with a fresh tank) felt so good.
Two very different opinions here. I think I'm gonna avoid the spider drone and drive around town. Swarm of bees coming from a grandma sounds like a fun way to mix it up.
@Magog Is the only way to get Aiden Pearce through the Season Pass, and did you play his dlc?
Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Spider-Man. Sony's got a good gamut of examples on how to do open-worlds in many different environments.
How would this game feel relative to the copy-pastiness for someone brand new to the franchise?
I'll only play one Ubi game every other year because they're so samey - and it's been that time, so I bought Legion on sale earlier in the month.
Every other week since the game came out, they've taken steps to address progression in some way. Earlier this week they lowered prices, and after this season we can start to actually earn some currency.
They're doing the right things now on the economic side, let's hope true skill-based progression can make season two and that they'll address the desync issues well before then.
Series S is the little-console-that-could for its price point and intended use, but it's more than just resolution at this point now. It went from being the best-performing 120fps machine in Halo's first tech preview to being capped out at 60fps by only the second TP.
I would bet it's because the campaign mode buckled its resolution even further below where it was in MP in order to sustain that, which was already very muddy in that mode. Guardians of the Galaxy ...
PC can cross-play with PC lol, that weird phrasing got a click out of me. Epic Store + Steam Version.
Which actually can be a thing. I think I remember a COD game coming out on the Windows Store that only played with Windows Store players. So there was only like a handful of people.
These games pushed the limits of gaming in culture when they were released, such a massive letdown that their most significant moments since have been reduced to all of this.
This is the kind of treatment you get if you're a dead franchise and your publisher wants to see if there's any interest *but* doesn't care either way.
All fine, but I will counter to that with Destiny 2 being multi platform and the infrequency of GT releases. If you *prefer* the racing genre over others, the Forza Horizon series has no equivalent on PlayStation and Motorsport was never viewed poorly.
If you *prefer* shooters, Xbox's history is based on them. COD was popularized on it until PS4 came around and attracted that crowd, Halo goes without mention. Their purchase of Bethesda - Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake, FP-RPG...
N4G people indeed be N4G people. Some like to troll, some deflect and distract, some can't let go of the past... some seem to exist here only to do all of that.
The best thing to do is keep talking about what we enjoy, and how what we disagree with could be better without inflating our negativity towards that.
Xbox is a better system relative to legacy support and those that prefer shooters and racers.
PlayStation has always had the upper hand when it comes to those generation-defining story-driven experiences.
I said in another article I preferred Halo over Ratchet - as true as that is to me, it's impossible to deny just how well-made Ratchet was. Such a cohesive well-realized pristinely-paced story, a wide array of unique weapons, huge set pieces, a Big H...
Ratchet conflicts me, having just played through it. It was charming, so well paced. They juggled between Rivet in a way that made her seem just as important a character, without making it feel like she was an "other", like Arbiter felt in Halo 2 or (god forbid) Locke in Halo 5. I got the platinum trophy after playing it for just over a week, loved every minute and it really is as beautiful as it's been said. That 40fps mode should be standard.
But it just fel...
The game was very well-received at release, and the sales figures were the quickest of the franchise at launch. Not the highest-rated RE game, but its metacritic is just 2pts below 7's (84 vs 86) and its user score is higher than the critic score.
Not sure where your sources are from but they were off on both fronts. Nice try on trying to make it seem like a marketing conspiracy though.
This wasn't a 2021 release, but I did only play it in 2021 and it did come to PS5 and Switch in August.
The Falconeer as it released on Xbox. The voice actors all sounded the same, there was so much open space that every mission I played up to had a "Skip" button appear almost right after you'd start up. You would fly for minutes to get to the mission and the missions were all the same. Checkpoints were infrequent, the feedback didn't feel right when s...
Why on earth would they post that first Gif in that state? Aloy's hair is constantly clipping into her bow when she walks, they could've shown her holding it instead.
Doesn't take away from the gorgeous environments, but that is interesting for how good everything else looks, they couldn't address the main character's hair... that's on your screen 100% of the time
