Oh, no need to explain, I can understand your stance completely. I suppose my comment was a bit of me just sort of thinking out loud. I wasn't so much looking for a response from anyone. First of all, I'd like to know what makes a version 'superior' to another version. Is it graphics? Or content? Maybe a combination of both? Or is the overall score all that matters? Well, why would a TRUE Xbox 360 fanboy be looking into getting a PS3 anyway? And if you're a big fanboy for any company you probably will go with the message they put out. In this case you'd probably believe that digital distribution is the future. But really... why even mention 360 fanb...

Perhaps I'm just too tolerant of some problems or maybe some players had it worse in the beta than I did. There was certainly quite a few issues that needed/need to be ironed out... and maybe it would have been best to delay it a bit longer (after all October's a big month for PS3 anyway with LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, among others). Is it the red 'greatest hits' logo that bothers you? Because I got the 'greatest hits' Warhawk and it's not like it was with PS2 games. It's just a sticker that peels right off so when you open it all it looks just like your regular Warhawk case. It's no longer part of the inside cover like in the past. At least the one I got wasn't... and I purchased mine off Amazon as well.

Personally, I think this is wonderful news. A great way to show off your LittleBigPlanet creations to your friends or anyone who might not own a Playstation 3. All without having to buy anything extra. I'm very happy about this.

First time I've ever listened to this podcast, but I really think I'm going to have to start tuning in from now on. Some really interesting stuff and I need something to keep me till Street Fighter IV hits consoles. Well, something besides all the great games that are hitting before then that is.

It's hard to say what will happen... but we also have to remember that October isn't just a huge month for the PS3 because of LittleBigPlanet. Perhaps it will pack the most punch... but Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and SOCOM: Confrontation are also releasing this month. I'm not saying it's guaranteed that those will bring in new players... but I think SOCOM has a good chance to at least give a slight push, being that it's a popular series from the PS2.

There are around 8 hours of cutscenes, as stated in the bonus DVD which comes with the Limited Edition. As for how much 'gameplay' it has... that's kind of relative to the player. On my first playthrough I completed the title in 25 hours. It is possible to go through the game on a speed-run and beat it in less than 5, but the same can be said about many games. Metroid Prime for example has very little in way of cutscenes. I'd estimate that on average it takes 15-20 hours to beat. However, it ...

That's just it though. Metacritic only takes select reviews. That in itself isn't so bad... but the problem is that they don't technically give you the real average because their scoring system is 'weighted'. Some sites or magazines then have a greater effect on the overall average. I don't know if that's really fair for any game... especially when we're not told which sites they hold in higher regard.

I'm not saying LittleBigPlanet should be higher or lower... I'm just statin...

Yes, and that user score has been falling so sharply it's almost impossible to believe that those are genuine votes. Though the user scores on that website are often pretty strange... the last time I looked it was around a 7 something for LittlBigPlanet. Now it's in the 5's? Not that it matters at all to me... but something is definitely fishy... and it's not just the fingers above. ;)

But it only has 9 reviews so far. I think it's a little early to be talking about its average. It could go down or up. Better to wait and see, but I believe it will hang around that 95. I was in the beta and I simply cannot wait for the full title. It's a breath of fresh air in the gaming world. Few titles live up to the hype... but for me LittleBigPlanet already has... and that's just after experiencing the beta!

I don't really care for Metacritic much though. Great for those ...

Does this mean that I'll now be able to watch Gametrailers' videos on my PS3? That's really something I've been wanting to do... but to my knowledge it wasn't possible before.

I believe chasuk08 is stating what HE would need to spend, and I can only assume he's done some research for himself and knows what he wants/needs. I myself couldn't miss playing Gears of War 2 online! But you're both right in your own ways.

Right you are, Death. I wouldn't go dismiss such a thing because it very well could have been one of the factors. However, regardless of whether it was MGS4 alone, backwards compatibility, or whatever... my overall point still stands. Well, I'm not telling you that you SHOULD check it out... but there's really no real spoilers. All they tell you is the name of the acts and the chapters within them. Those don't really give away much of anything either.

Honestly, I don't see how these details could ruin it for anyone. If you still prefer to avoid, I understand... but there's nothing to really worry about in my opinion. And I'm getting the game as well so I wouldn't want any spoilers either.
