Do you have a link? I have no problem getting rid of the story as long as someone can link me to where it's been posted on N4G and as long as the review text is readable for those who actually want to read it.
Yeah, when the first videos of this game were coming out it looked rather slow... but it does look alot faster than when it was first shown. Most who've played it say it is surprisingly fast. On top of that, apparently block stun has almost been reduced by half.
Before or after the textures pop in?
I'm curious, for all those who have the game, are you playing it with the english voiceovers or the japanese language track? I don't have the game yet as I've already spent too much... so this one will have to be a Christmas gift... but I was just wondering how many out there are playing it with the Japanese voice-work on.
It's just a review of the ARCADE version. Which doesn't even have all the characters that the console versions will have. Or even 'training mode' or things like that.
So you can kinda expect even more awesomeness! :)
Edge also reviewed the Arcade version of this game awhile back and gave it a 9/10. In fact, they also said it could very well be one of the finest fighting games ever made! :)
This is my MAG (Most Anticipated Game) and I'm very pleased to hear that it's mostly praise by those who've had plenty of hands-on experience with the game.
February 17th for America and I believe it's February 20th for Europe! :)
I don't understand this. It appears as though they just copied segments from 1Up's review!

Tell me if I'm missing something here.
While I count comment on the KOF games since I've yet to play one (though I am very interested in KOFXII)... I really don't think SFIV is so much a 'regression'. Not from what I've heard at least. Yes, it does go back to a style much closer to SFII, however, many SFIV players have commented on the fact that it's a much deeper game than it first appears. No, there's no real 'parrying' in the game... but the focus attacks can be used in so many different ways.
I think something t...
Exactly. The title confused me. How can an ad campaign disappoint Playstation gamers? Does it make the quality of the games you're playing drop or something?
Though I agree that Sony doesn't have the strongest advertising this gen and that's an area I really do hope they improve in as they now have plenty of games out there and the public just needs to see that. But this shouldn't disappoint 'gamers' in the least as they don't play ad campaigns.
Even though I'm very much looking forward to this since I haven't played Street Fighter II since the SNES days... I have to say I can understand where you're coming from.
I don't think it looks BAD... but I have no doubt that Capcom COULD have done alot more with it. I've heard them say they didn't want to add any new animations to keep it in line with the original... but I think it probably had alot to do with Capcom not wanting to allocate more of their resources to the proje...
"In exclusives, you have titles like The Last Remnant, Lips, Left 4 Dead, Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, Mirror's Edge, and Fable 2."
Ok, Last Remnant is a timed exclusive so I could see why he'd count it there.... but Mirror's Edge? How do you get to thinking that's an exclusive?
If it meows when you stick it in I'm getting this!
"The Playstation is the best overall system. It offers a reliability, Blu-ray technology, and a constantly growing community. But if you consider yourself a Hardcore gamer looking for that top notch online gaming experience, the 360 is the system you want right now."
If you're a hardcore gamer you'll make up your own mind about these type of things. I find it ridiculous that these articles come out basically telling you that if you fit into a certain group then you ha...
Ohhhh, that was so good! I'll have to do it again.
Watch it again I mean.
Microsoft wasn't lying! They were just talking about the competition, as always.

"Though more than one CEO has cited an October retail slowdown in recent investor conference calls, such a slowdown happily does not seem to have afflicted the U.S. video game industry sales as a whole. Today, the NPD reports that game industry sales actually increased 18% year-over-year to $1.31 billion."
I dunno... looks ok...
I believe they're mistaken, actually.

Right there you can see that Guitar Hero: World Tour on the 360 is one slot above the Wii version on NPD's chart. I went searching for this list because I was sure that I noticed the 360 version coming out on top of the others. It would appear that it did come out ahead.
Well, it's kinda like PS3 games. Certain titles might be banned in some countries but being that all PS3 games are region free you can just import any game that doesn't get an 'official' release in your country. So yes, you can still import a Street Fighter IV cabinet... but that's of course very expensive. No doubt considerably more than it would be if they were released here in America 'officially'.
What do you mean? It shows Akuma in the video! He is in the game.
