I can think of some games that would fit the title much better.
Just wait till next year when they announce the Wii Fertility Sensor.
Why does Forza want Gran Turismo's balls?
I do feel that both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were emotional experiences... but that's not to say they were really 'sad'. I think it resonates in the way the worlds are conscructed and how the music brings it all together. In Ico you feel very much trapped in this hollow place. There's a real sense of isolation. No game has ever made me feel the way I felt while playing through Ico. I've gone back and played through the ending several times simply because it's such an amazing experience....
Why would Turn 10 even bother to do this? It's a little online poll. It means absolutely nothing. Winning it wouldn't reap any great benefits for them. I can't say I'm exactly 'mad' about this as I don't see the point. It's rather dumb if you ask me.
I think they both have potential. Alot of potential in fact. But I don't really wanna get too hyped over either at this point in time. We don't really know when exactly we'll see this technology and even if it does work it still has to be implemented properly into games. And I'd really like to see games that serious gamers would like to play. Games that I'd like to play.
When the Wii was first announced I was very excited. There seemed to be so many possibilities with these new...
I do think that developers and companies should not conduct themselves in such a manner as this. Turn 10 has been talking far too much about Gran Turismo recently and it really seems unnecessary. I would much prefer if developers when asked about their 'competitors' would just say, "We don't comment on the competition. We'll allow our game to rest on its own merits." That to me isn't disrespectful and it exudes a cool confidence rather than arrogance. I know Turn 10 isn't the FIRST ...
Those with darker skin can always try smearing some mayonnaise on themselves before playing.
Luckily I won't have that problem. In fact, I think the mayonnaise is a little darker than me.
OMG, don't you know how important it is for these companies to be able to put "Won E3" on their résumé? :P
It's hard to say whether or not MAG will really take off... but I do applaud Zipper for what they're attempting to achieve with this. Does it look generic? Sure. Almost all FPS games look generic now because there's a whole mess of them out there. To me that doesn't really matter much just as long as the gameplay is solid.
Also, I think it was Eurogamer that was praising this game back when they got some hands-on time with it. They're pretty tough on alot of games but they talk...
It's their opinion so I'm not going to complain about it. To each his own. However...
"For me it was really disappointing that all they showed was that typical Gran Turismo 5 CG Trailer and no other information given."
Do people really believe that was all CGI? It looked superb, almost photorealistic at times... but it seemed to clearly be in-game footage to me.
I'm not sure Heavy Rain will be a game with widespread appeal but I am intrigued by what it's bringing to the table. This whole concept of having no game over along with a story that will somehow continue on in one way or another is something I'd love to see integrated into other games. I know some will say that Heavy Rain "isn't a game." That it's only "an interactive movie". Truthfully I can understand how some of the recent gameplay videos that have been released could ...
Of course my expectation level may have varied among the 3, but I was mostly pleased with both Microsoft's and Sony's conference. Neither had announcements that truly 'shocked' me... even if there was a couple little surprises.
I do sort of have a problem with these type of articles. These 'opinion pieces' I guess you'd call them. Saying Microsoft (or Sony) won or lost - was defeated/crushed/embarassed etc. And you'll have folks who will agree with what's written and those who ...
G4 spoke with David Cage at E3 and he said EARLY 2010. Also, just recently when they showed off the new footage just before E3 he was saying they're right on schedule with everything so I do think that's when we can expect it.
He said early 2010.
"Chubby Rain" was in Bowfinger.
These screenshots make me think of X-Files or something. But they're pretty badly compressed so I expect when we get actual video it's going to look a heck of alot nicer. You can see how the guy's sweating in that one shot that's the thumbnail for this story... but the detail is greatly lost due to the quality of the screenshot.
The "trey" is the PS3. I'm not exactly sure where this term originated but I know that's what it refers to. I first heard some crazy guy on youtube use it.
I just want to finally see some Alan Wake gameplay to get an idea of what the hell it's even going to be like. I expect good things... but it's been a long time coming.
A new Killer Instinct would be great as well. Though I haven't been too impressed with Rare's games this generation, I'd still like to see what they do with the fighting genre. Killer Instinct has its own very unique flavor so it will be interesting to see how they bring the series back. I for one hope that it s...
Blazblue has 6 player lobbies as well, if that's what you're wondering about.
