I'm seriously looking forward to this title as well... and from the footage that's been shown it's easily one of the most gorgeous games out there... but you have to be careful with games like this. I've been saying from the very beginning that this looks like a freakin' Studio Ghibli film! And really the screenshots do not do it justice... just like they say. Download a video of it on your PS3 if you really want to get an idea of how beautiful it is.
This game is looking to be pretty damn good. I'm definitely planning on purchasing this one but it's nice to hear all these previews that are very positive. Looks like it'll be another great holiday title!

I don't support bashing, whether it be consoles or developers... but man, that made me laugh simply because that's probably my favorite part in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.
Ted Price just comes across as such a humble guy. What I love is he never seems to oversell his games. He just seems like a real gamer and someone who actually has a passion for what he does. He doesn't put down the competition and he lets the games speak for themselves.

I can't speak on Wipeout HD as I haven't purchased it yet (don't worry I'll get around to it) but I will say I very much like the original Fzero for the SNES. F-zero GX for the gamecube? I hated it. Honestly I preferred XG3 to that game. I love high-speed racers with weapons.

That's not exactly true about NO 3rd party developers wanting to create PS3 exclusives. Both Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain) and Level 5 (White Knight Chronicles)chose to make their games exclusively for PS3. Heavy Rain was originally meant to be a multiplatform title but David Cage said they could get more out of the game by focusing on one platform.
And of course Level 5 was screwed over by Microsoft when they pulled the plug on True Fantasy Live Online for the Xbox. But regardle...
