This is really kind of a shame, but it's rather telling of the state of the arcade scene here in America I think.
Yeah that guy was a really great Dhalsim. In fact it's the first video I've seen of a good Dhalsim player. The key seems to be getting in on him though. His range is so good... you've really got to cut that off and get next to him if you hope to do much. Like you said, Abel, Rufus and Sagat are used pretty heavily. Rufus' EX Messiah Kick is ridiculous! Though I've heard the most complaints about Zangief being 'cheap'. Whether or not there's a such thing... he's definitely been beefed up and h...
Since it can be frustrating clicking through GameDaily's many seperate pages I've compiled the list for those wanting to save some time. You'll have to click through if you want hear their thoughts on each choice, but here's the quick list...

Proof that video games can improve the quality of life. :)
I bet he grabbed a statue's crotch on the way out too.
Well I'd like there to be a few more as well... but I have a feeling this will be it. Producer Yoshinori Ono said in an interview that they didn't want to have TOO many characters in the game. And also it was said that the character select screen was a hint at how many there would be. Now that it's all balanced out and there's not really any room remaining I doubt we'll see anymore.
Yeah, it seems they've gone a similar route with Street Fighter IV as well. What I've been hearing from players (top players) is that he's really become top tier now. Perhaps only behind Sagat at this point. That's not to say he's impossible to beat... but, according to most, someone can devote half as much time to him as most characters and manage to win more. I've seen Zangief matches... and those who have any amount of skill usually own with him now. Of course this is just in the arcade ve...
Knowing Square-Enix it will be info telling us something like there's a dog in the game named Hail. Only this isn't his actual name and that information will be released later along with more screenshots from the same old trailer. I believe they're trying to make it so that you can recreate the entire thing in slideshow form.
I used to like the show too, actually. :)
I think there's others that could have gone on the list in its place. To me Mortal Kombat was worse than the Street Fighter show. At least Street Fighter is so bad it's entertaining. Mortal Kombat has its laughable moments... but it's more boring in my opinion. And it just looks so damn plain.
I've gone through the same thing Fishy. In fact I've still never played a single match online. Me and my brother still had some fun with bots offline... but man, I've been dying to go online and it sucks that so far I haven't been able to. Hopefully they get the whole issue worked out soon.
That's really my only complaint though. I loved the campaign and it really is a fantastic co-op experience. I actually enjoyed it more than I imagined I would. Guess it helped that I haven't...
@ Dark General
Well I haven't gotten to play Street Fighter IV myself... I've just heard a heck of alot about it. Mostly from listening to the Street Fighter podcast on gootecks.com. Though I've seen countless videos as well. I'm sure Akuma isn't bad by any means... but apparently he's a bit toned down. But hey I personally don't care too much about tier lists and all that. I just find that kind of information interesting and like to pass it along. I think everyone should go with the c...
This trailer + music is so full of win! I can just imagine Mr. Miyagi as an unlockable character. :)
@ i am the truth
I must warn you though, Akuma has a very weak defense in this game, meaning he takes alot of damaged compared to most characters. There's apparently even this Balrog combo that can take off his entire life bar. Not sure how well it works in a match though... I've just heard there is one.
@ Foxgod
As long as the Super Combo meter is full, my friend! ;) Though actually in this game it appears the Revenge meter and Ultra combos are more important.

While I only played the demo, I do think Folklore used the sixaxis controls rather well. Though most of the time I think developers just tack on these motion controls. It's nice to see GG using it in what seems to be an interesting way. As long as it doesn't making aiming a real chore.
That sniper rifle in Killzone 2 is crazy good too. I don't know if that have different damage settngs in the beta but I've seen footage where one shot takes down opponents regardless of where the...
I've got to say that if it's true I'm just a little bit disappointed that they didn't go with another Alpha character like Guy or something. Though I was really hoping to see a 3rd Strike character... maybe Makoto or Ibuki make it in. Alas, it looks as though that won't be happening. It's a solid roster in my opinion though and as I've said before, this is my most anticipated game! Call me crazy with all the other amazing stuff coming out... but I can't help that I'm taken with Street Fighter...
I've been playing Gears of War 2, going through co-op with my brother and I have to say I've been loving it. It's even more enjoyable than I was expecting. Perhaps I had just forgotten how fun the first one was.
That being said... I don't have a clue what this writer is trying to say. It's a quality title in my opinion, and that's all any game needs to be. I don't really see any Miyamoto-like touches in there... and that's not to say it's better or worse than the games he make...
It will be disc-based. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, however, will be available through PSN/XBLA probably this month though.
I'll be honest - the guy looks like an aspiring underwear model.
But his moveset does look pretty neat. Especially that attack when he sucks his opponent into his marble stomach... thing. I assume that's his ultra. It appears as though he's a mixture of several characters. I noticed similarity in moves to Ryu, Dhalsim (and maybe M. Bison), Abel, Zangeif (or El Fuerte) and perhaps more. It's interesting... but I worry about balancing issues. I understand he's the final boss... b...
I knew this would be coming! Ah, I'm going to be overwhelmed with all this Street Fighter goodness! Thank you, Capcom.
Now I know it's very unlikely this would happen... but if they did a 3rd Strike HD Remix kind of thing they'd have my undying loyalty forever. Oh god, that would be like a dream!
Right you are there. I wouldn't have wanted to compromise Brawl's graphics either with it being such a nice looking game. And it seems many developers have a difficult time getting lag under control for fighting games. Now Brawl isn't exactly your traditional fighting game, in fact I struggle to really pin down the genre it falls under, but I imagine it's a little more complex than a racing game. Relying much more on quick button inputs. A dedicated server no doubt would have improved things ...
Cammy vs Chun-Li: Battle of the Disproportionate Legs
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
