Yes, worldwide for the year the PS3 has sold better than the 360 so I really have no idea what you're going on about. If the PS3 sales are horrid than the 360 sales must also be. I guess the Wii's the only one doing 'okay'?
The 360 outsold the PS3 in Japan for the last two weeks... but over the entire year they're well behind in Japan. There's no solid figure tracking in Europe but Sony's already stated that they passed up the 360's install base... which has to mean that they'v...
Aye, it should be the ability to take pictures (or screen 'captures' as you said) while in any game and save those images on your harddrive. From there you would then be able to send these pictures to your friends or set them as your background on your PS3.
Nice to see they'll have Street Fighter IV running on the PS3. Of course the big things I'm looking forward to is those 11 unannounced games. I really hope this turns out to be a memorable TGS. I have a feeling it will be.
I signed up for the Gametrailers newsletter yesterday. I might've gotten lucky because I THINK I saw it right after their site updated. I'm kind of treating it as my last hope unless there's an open beta (well, MORE open I suppose). Who knows what they're doing it by though. Whether it's random or first come first serve. Alls I know is their's caught my eye because it said if you sign up you will get your code on Thursday. I dunno... they can't very well have an infinite amount of beta keys.....
That is seriously lame, man. I wasn't expecting to get a key from them anyway (hoping Gametrailers comes through) but that is just stupid as hell. How could THEY not have the beta keys on hand when many other smaller sites did? I'm sorry, but it just makes them look incompetent in my opinion.
I'd be mighty pleased to have Crysis on my PS3. I'm not a PC gamer so this is the only way I'd ever get to experience this title. Keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
That screen-grabbing feature also sounds damn sweet! I wouldn't really be surprised if it's included in firmware 2.5. I'll be happy if either is true... but both would just be icing on the cake!
Kamiya only worked on the first Devil May Cry you know? I'm not trying to argue on which is better - Devil May Cry or God of War - but I'm just saying that he didn't work on Devil May Cry 3.
As for this game... it's really hard to tell how good it looks from the scans. I'll reserve judgement on how visually pleasing it is till I see it in motion (hopefully at TGS) but it's the gameplay that matters anyway. As long as that's solid I'll probably buy it. IF I were to go by the sca...
I've commented on quite a few articles like this before so I don't really feel like getting into a big rant about it anymore. To be honest of quite tired of seeing articles of this type.
The Wii has managed to bring in tons of casuals... true. But it's not forcing hardcore gamers out. Their will always be a market for both and companies won't neglect where there's money to be made. On top of all that, there's always a 'chance' that casual gamers could become hardcore gamers in ...
You're absolutely right!
Now let's hope people remember this when multiplatform comparison vids come out. ;)
New rumor: Those who attend the midnight selling events will receive a code for an alternate 'speedo' costume for use in online multiplayer.
Bret Ratner? God, have mercy on this film.
Well, they sound really excited and the article was a good read in that it provided alot of info on what the first act is like. One thing that jumped out at me though was this...
"It is instead an evolution of the middleware comparable to the way sport games like Madden and Pro Evolution Soccer move forward each year."
I'm not knocking the game, but what I am saying is that Gameplayer may not have put that in the best way. I don't know about Pro Evo... ...
I don't think I have ever been so impressed by a game before its release. It's staggering what Media Molecule has managed to achieve with this game. I'm really left in awe of what they've accomplished. It's almost hard to believe that the beta's been out such a short time and already we're seeing things like this. Can you imagine what the content will be like months from now? Yeah, there will be alot of crap levels... but the fact that users have managed to create things of this quality so ea...
I've got a feeling you're going to wet the bed again tonight.
TGS is looking like it could be the best convention this year! I'm really hoping to be blown away by this one since, while E3 and Leipzig weren't bad... they didn't really have that 'awe' factor for me. Perhaps with the exception of Heavy Rain of course.
11 new titles though... that is just hawt! With 9 of those being pretty much guaranteed exclusives (at least I'd assume if they're published by SCEJ) I'm expecting to a few beauties. I can only hope that Team Ico's game will be...
That was really unnecessary MART. -_-
For the record, LittleBigPlanet WILL have co-op at launch. You can play any levels in the game with other people and any of the user-created levels. The only thing you can't do is create levels with other users ONLINE on launch. It's a feature that will be implimented after, but it's not that big of a deal for most people. This article has to do with Fable 2... NOT LittleBigPlanet.
Anyway, it's good to hear that it should be ...
I'd rather play both! :)
And I will.
Seriously though, why does every freakin' article about Gears of War 2 or Resistance 2 get filled up with comments about how one will crush the other? We don't need this folks. Maybe this isn't the most 'important' article ever... but neither is half the stuff that gets posted on N4G. Every section has its share of crap. People should stick the the sections they really care about. The games they really care about. You can shar...
It was for your job application at Kotaku? :)
As long as they're free I'm happy. But if it comes packaged with the code that's even better.
No SOCOM, LittleBigPlanet or Moterstorm 2! Well Game Informer does seem to have some 'different' tastes. This is mind boggling to me quite honestly though. Force Unleashed isn't even an October game!
I believe Game Informer are the ones who listed Left 4 Dead as their most anticipated game. Not trying to put the game down... but it does strike me as an odd choice since I believe they're the only place I've seen rank that one at #1.
It's their list in the end so I...
