To be fair, though it didn't follow the TYPICAL open-world style, even Arkham Asylum had a element of free-roaming to it, allowing you to take multiple routes and revisit old areas once unlocked.
I can think of a lot more games that are far more linear.
Also, who cares? It's going to be amazing!
I wondered when somebody would say this...if you're a gamer, you should enjoy all the games you can. Don't complain that 2 games are coming out. Just enjoy each experience on it's own merits.
Personally, I only play local co-op. I find sitting down with friends playing games with a few drinks to be the real way to enjpy co-op.
I like online for things like DM, CTF etc, but I guess I just prefer my campaign experience to be seperate.
You're right though, it SHOULD be included, because just because i wouldn't use it, many people would and it wouldn't be that difficult for the devs to incorporate.
I did not know there was a Motorstorm or Syphon Filter. Thanks Homer!
I'm with you. I played through the 1st game and I just wasn't blown away at any point. The characters aren't likable, the story is melodramatic and the gameplay just isn't my cup of tea.
IO Interactive fans ARE Hitman fans. Just give the people what they want.
This had BETTER be Hitman 5. I swear, if I see one more bloody Kane & Lynch game, I'll go craaazzzzyyyyy!!!!
I know plenty of people called Richard...Dick is often used at a shortened name for Richard, so yeah...
OT: This is just a publicity stunt anyway. If anyone is stupid enough to do this, it can easily be undone, as BeOneWithTheGun says.
In fairness, East Asia is usually where the stories of children starving to death due to neglect from their MMO-playing parents come from.
I'm not entirely surprised this has happened.
I can't believe anyone is taking Pachter seriously. What's that? Wii HD in 2008? Idiot.
LA Noire? Crude Humour? Err, no...
PSP games are great. Trouble is, there aren't too many of them, which is a great shame.
I think implementing move features would be great, but people will buy this game regardless, so there seems to be no real incentive for the inclusion of move features.
Would you rather they finish it the day before release and have no bug patches upon release? Or better yet, would you rather the release date be pushed back again to make sure the bugs are gone?
This is GOOD news!
Don't be silly. When it's finally announced in 10 years, you'll still want it just as much as the rest of us...
YOU ams so ghey!
I think you're missing the point (a little). Games are described as not having mainstream 'approval'.
This is true. Television & Films never cause controversy, whereas games are always accused of ruining lives.
One day I think games will have mainstream approval though, as soon as the critics and conspiracy theorists have found a new media format to demonize and blame for all the problems in the world.
@Dannybohy
Why does it matter that you canbe faster on a mouse and keyboard? This is about realism and on the battlefield, you mouse skills wouldn't be worth jack.
£40 seems a lot considering you need to have both controllers (approx. £50 - £60) and then the cost of Killzone 3 (£40). It's just a piece of plastic!!!!
You can buy the Wii attachments in Poundland for crying out loud!
It's a comparison article and there's very little info on Skyrim so far. What exactly did you expect?
I do hope this is true. I have always enjoyed stealth action games the most (MGS, Splinter Cell, Thief, Hitman etc.) and I would love another true stealth experience to dig my teeth into.
Recently, the stealth element of stealth games has been a little disappointing.
