There have been knives in all the Hitman games. The fibre wire is concealable so it makes more sense to have that from the off. I would like to see better knife animations/stealth kills though (like in MGS4 of the older SC games)
In Blood Money, there was a rival agency against him. In Contracts, the police were on his tail for the later missions, so there's no reason it needs to turn out like Conviction...fingers crossed.
Oh dear...Hitman is one of my favourite games ever. Please don't mess it up by trying to Kane & Lynchify it. Hitman's MEANT to be hard. It's meant to make you think before you act but still feel a sense of urgency.
I'll still buy it on day 1, but this is a 'little' worrying. Hopefully, the "strong, hardcore side" will be more reminiscent of the current play style.
Precisely. I'd much rather just play games and enjoy them for what they are. I don't care what system something comes out on if it's good. I'd personally like to see something like San Andreas Stories on the PSP, much like Libery City and Vice City stories. Sure, it might have better graphics on the PS3, but who cares as long as I can play it?
Fair enough. The MP on that game was REALLY popular. I'm more on a single player and split screen coop kinda guy though, to be honest.
I know this might sound silly, but I like the look of this one. It's no Battlefield, but I might pick it up. I passed on Black Ops, but I dunno, I think this looks a lot better.
It's still only an upgrade of an old game. It's not going to look on par with the latest games, but I'm more than happy with the improvements. But you're right, it's not a huge leap.
3 Great SP games for the price of 1. I can live with no online. This is my 2nd favorite game franchise ever, after MGS and before Hitman.
@ SolidBoss
Who cares? Then it'll be MGS 6 IF they decide to make another MGS title? If another does come out, I'll be happy...I certainly won't care what it's called.
I agree completely! There are so many hardcore GTA fans that they feel like you have to like one or the other. I think both are amazing games and I look forward to this next installment with the Third Street Saints.
Haha! I think San Andreas has to be played with mods to get the FULL experience, but it's still one of the best games ever in my book. I did like GTA 4, just not as much.
What with the NGP coming out and this slated fro release on the PSP, I'm guessing it won't be long. Then again, Square Enix do like to take their time with things. Either way, I'm looking forward to it. Looks like a return to the good old days potentially!
What's wrong with Saints Row? Just because it's not GTA, that doesn't make it bad.
Actually, that would be pretty awesome. Cheers mate!
Just wondering...is FF Type Zero going to be for the current PSP or this new one? I'd hate to have to buy a new system just for that game. With all the good games coming out this year, I don't think I can afford that.
I agree with this entirely. I personally miss the good old adventure games. Grim Fandango, Discworld, Broken Sword etc. They were good stories.
Not sure this is the guy to be talking about good/fun plots though.
I own a Move and I love it, when I can use it. It's great fun and worth the money, but I too would like to see it utilized better. If Uncharted does get support, it'll be a great day.
Then they will make a LOT less money from the casual market, which is actually more profitable at the moment. There is no shortage of CORE games coming out this year, so what's the harm in letting the casuals have fun too?
Live and let live.
Nobody ever needs to win. A true gamer will use E3 to judge for themselves what hardward and software they will pick up. I, for example, have a PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP. I don't have a Wii, so I'm not interested in their exhibitions.
Doesn't mean Nintendo will do any less well though. It's all subjective.
In a lot of ways, FF13 was a great game. But I never finished it because it felt like I was trying too hard to enjoy it. I waited so long for that game that I refused to accept that it wasn't really for me and ended up finally giving up at around the point people said it got really good. But when I got there and it was the same for me, I lost the will to continue.
I know most people say this, but the older FF games WERE better. That doesn't mean FF13 wasn't good, ...
