I can list you several AAA games that ran crappy on the PS3 and by the looks of it the trend seems to be in place for the PS4. It wasnt just a few games.
So whats the point of the 400usd console that dips to 15fps. I rather put the 400 usd in a bank or on something that actually works.
Not my problem if Sony has a habbit of making hard to code machines and the devs dont have the time to optimize for it. Sony should have given the PS4 ...

I agree with you, Screenshots dont do the differences justice.
One game running between 30-60fps and another dipping to 15fps is a game breaker. Screen shots dont show that extra power.
At least on PC you can downgrade the graphics yourself to the point where you have a stable frame rate this is when your hardware is weak. You arent dictated by some developer on how your game runs.

You do realize AMD is still in losses despite getting the console business. While Nvidia actually posts profits.
The chips sold to console makers are actually very cheap and dont result in much profits to begin with.

Yet it did give you the option to run the game even through the use of VM's and Dosbox. No such option on console. Good luck maintaining multiple old consoles and accessories to run old games.

Check Steam library, the 5 games you mentioned would quickly become boring. PS4 or Xbone just dont have a library. Hard to argue with that.
My brother was an avid PS3 gamer. He went PC gaming mid gen. Today he has over 200 games on the PC all Backward compatible. In comparison PS4 hardly offers anything.

You have no games to play. PS4, Xbone libraries are so piddly its laughable.
And whos to blame for this garbage, consoles and their low standards, never had such limitations previously on the PC.
Any how it doesnt effect the PC platform since the community will release a patch to fix what the devs break. Happens every time.
I am not trolling, its true my brothers ps4 lays their collecting dust. PS4 has no games.
Crytek hardly has made graphical progress after Crysis 1.
All they care about now is sucking up to EA and the wider audience. Which means compromising games with 10 year old hardware in mind.
Dumbed down games for console audience and hardware.

My brother bought a PS4 4 months after launch, till date hes only played 1 game on it (which happened to be a HD remake Tomb Raider, he had previously played it on the PC).
Other than that he hasnt played any other game on the PS4. Since the PS4 has no games.
Most of the games are out on the PC and run way better.

PCs are open system's unlike consoles they have this thing called freedom and options lol.
Check out utilities like Nvinspector for reference.
Easily runs on modest PC hardware.
Quality over quantity. Just hear the sounds on those cars they sound dam real. Most of the cars on GT6 sound the same.
As of right now, aside hardcore PC racing sims like Iracing or Rfactor 2 nothing out there can stand up to Assetto Corsa.
I really cant wait for Project Cars to be out. Would be amazing to see AC and Project Cars go head to head.
Whats really amazing is that AC is made by a very small development team. Its amazing what they have done considering their man power and budget, i think the game is severely under appreciated.
Cant wait for Project cars looks so detailed. In the mean time i been playing Assetto Corsa on the PC its still in beta but looks very promising.

Those games listed have a very good community playing them on Steam.
Leave it to PC gamers to create their own MP lol. Just like JC2.
