Well what do you guys expect them to do, they had to accommodate consoles too. Consoles arent some high end PCs like Sony and MS would like you to believe. In fact current gen consoles are a significant step down compared to what PS3 and Xbox 360 were for their time.
PC version will probably be upgraded by mods later on in the future, for now enjoy the game play.
I think many of the fresh ideas of our time have come from the modding community. Developers essentially have closed the door on that community.
I think they need to allow modding on consoles too, so newer and creative ideas can be brought to the table. Developers themselves dont like mods because they cant sell DLCs, yet they themselves are not willing to do anything that is out of line with whats out already since they dont want to take risks.
If you think ...
Agreed. Cant wait to play w3 maxed out.
@MilkMan
Well its new to me, dont have a console so when it releases on PC its news to me.
I think PC gamers just have too many games to really care about the few console exclusives. Most people have over a 100+ games on their steam library alone.
People have to be utter fan boys to just post disagrees specially with all the evidence provided.
Its like arguing with someone on religion. I just had a look at all the images, PS4 pretty much looks blurry in all the comparisons. Looks more like low to med detail on the PS4, Keep in mind the PC is only running at 1080p. 2-3 years from now many people will have access to 1440p and 4k gaming at which time you could come back to these games and play them again with much more de...
Good i still havent purchased Farcry 4. Ill be buying the complete edition on a Steam or Greenmangaming discount lol.
Exactly what these publishers deserve.

I almost never preorder games any more. The only game i preordered was Witcher 3 on Steam that too cause i was getting it for 45 usd.
Other than that i am never preordering and i am never buying DLCs or seasons passes.
I usually buy games from Greenmangaming they usually have 20% off offers all the time. So wait till the game releases read the reviews then place my order.
Total war Warhammer if that ever gets released this year.
@Mega24
Titan X may struggle in 4k, but thats not because of a VRAM bottleneck. Titan X has tons of VRAM. Trust me i have 2 of them.
I play GTA 5 at 3440 * 1440 (this is not 4k), I see about 5.5 GB VRAM consumption. Everything ultra settings and 4X AA. So i would think a GTX 980 would have a tough time at 4k since 4k is about 30% higher resolution than 3440 * 1440.
You really should have waited on that GTX 980 investment for 4k gaming.
The problem with GTX 980 is the limited VRAM, 4GB really isnt enough at all for 4k gaming. I would say a minimum of 6GB is needed for that.
980 ti is just around the corner, would have been a much better option.
It will sell a ton day 1 if it gets announced for PC. Still havent played the game since no PC version.
A 2k PC will do about 4k at 60FPS, so why would you want to compare that to 1080p 60fps?
For 1080p 60fps you would need a 700-800usd PC tops. Which would come with cheaper games, free online and unlimited BC (in other words cheaper than console in the long run).
I think PC gaming is getting a second golden age.
@Kinger8939
I would take the PC version even if it provides similar experience to console. Reason being its a permanent collection for years to come, and if you ever do decide to upgrade you get a free HD remake.
For the love of god we dont need more games catering to the wider audience we already have Masseffect, Dragon age for that purpose.
Dragon age origins was such an amazing game which required so much thought and tactics, by the time its reached DA3 its gone dumb to the point where all you need to do is hack and slash no thought or planning needed. We dont need more games going that way.
There is nothing wrong with the way Witcher has always been. Infact i thin...
Nice to see they started catering to the PC as well.
@Eonjay
You could make a very good PC with around 700-800usd and the point is PC is a long term investment.
Once you buy Casing, DVD, RAM, HDD, Keyboard, Mouse etc, you dont tend to change those things for a very long time. Example the above stuff i have on my PC are about 10 years old. Every time i make a new build like in 5 years time i dont change those parts. Hence upgrading becomes very cheap for me. Cheaper than getting a console in fact.
Yea mention 399usd but ignore all hidden costs, good job.
