try checking out BFBC2 running on PC maxed out, no console game can compare to it.
Dont know why ppl keep bringing up killzone 2 or god of war 3, they are simply average by PC standards. They dont surpass the quality of any multiplat shooter on the PC, no reason to be bringing them up again over and over.

Halo reach will be xbox goty, personally halo doesnt impresss me though, just your average shooter.

overall about 30 of ps'3 titles run in 1080p(none of those games push the console), Ps3 now has over 350games released that would put 1080p titles below 10%. The majority of titles are 720p or below with very low AA.

I got HDMI on my ati radeon 4870x2, works great on a 1080p tv transfers the sound too, just like pandamobile said. Plus you save the 10usd, PC version is a no brainer.
Played the game on my 4870x2 runs great 1080 60fps+ everything maxed out.
Later i was over at a friends house seeing the xbox360 version, it was about 30fps dipping down at times. Textures looked low res compared to PC.
I couldnt go back to 30fps after playing well over 60fps.
Pc is the version to get.

Ps2 was great for its time. Ps3 has great exclusives, but when it comes to multiplats PC just is better, not to mention the PC exclusives.
If the Pc you are currently making this post from is anything like a dual core from 3yrs back all it needs is a 100usd gpu like ps3ftwin said and it will out perform ps3 in any game while costing you cheaper. Price paid for the gpu will be made back after few games bought.
runs great on a dual core with 8800gtx.. i would call that a low to mid range rig buy todays standard.

Lol how could you compare a hack and slash game with very small draw distances like Gow 3 to a game like Crysis which has insane Draw distances and distructable environments. There is no comparison between the two.
