There is a difference between upscaled and native 1080p, lets not even discuss the AA running on the PC.
Games you mentioned only game i am aware of which is true 1080p is wipe out(it looks like a last gen game), NBA(that doesnt push hardware at all) other then that rest are upscaled games.
GT5 as champ mentioned is not true 1080p.

Dude that list barely has about 35games. PS3 has over 400games released now.
Over 50% of the stuff mentioned on that list is stuff no serious gamer would be touching.
Which leave about 15 games on the list, out of which i dont see 1 title which is true 1080p and worth playing.

If Kill Zone 2 was out on PC we would have it running beyond 1080p 4x-8xAA beyond 60fps.
It would be a different game on the PC.
I could list ya dozen multiplats on the PC which look better then what Kill Zone 2 looks like on the PS3.

PC gaming always has been in a league of its own. I was playing Duke Nukem online with my friend back in 1995. Online gaming was one of the reasons i jumped ship to PC as my main gaming platform.

DRM maybe on PC today. But dont celebrate u just might get it on the consoles as well.
Also if its such a problem upgrading the PC every 3-5 yrs. Isnt it a problem replacing consoles that fail very often. I have known people on their 3rd-4th Xbox. I would call that a headache.
I wouldnt ignore all the superior Multiplats on the PC.

Will be amazing when the failbox version looks better then the lolstation. Then the druids will blame microsoft for having the ps3 version gimped lol. If that's how much influence micro does have then sony better do something.
My prediction xbox probably will win just like it does on most of the multiplats. Differences still will be minor at best.
U should rather the blame the dated gpus on both the consoles.
All pc games come out on dvd9 and look better then the counterparts available on bluray. Obvoisly dvd9 isn't the problem here. Its the dated hardware.

The xbox has a better gpu with unified shaders, so i guess you are right.. the xbox is superior.

In the end both the consoles will play the game as if running on Low settings on a PC. Any mid range PC should play this close to High settings.

Lol console makers have been trying to kill the PC gaming for decades now. Still failing each attempt as another console gen dies out.
Steam alone now has a user base of 25million plus. While console need to start from scratch each gen Steam keeps growing, there is no restart.
Whats more even your games remain compatible. Imo anyone sensible would be buying all multiplats on PC now. Doesnt make since to be buying multiplats on any other platform.

Microsoft is still in losses with the whole xbox project, so is sony in losses with the PS3. While Steam has been making money from the get go. They dont even have to reset their base when a generation ends. Their base keeps growing and growing as of 2010 Jan they reported a user count of 25million.

Agreed PC can be very versatile in that way. Once a console dies the only way to fix it is giving it in for repairs or maybe buying a new one.
With PC things are different. Sometimes even with damaged parts there is no downtime:
GPU failed.. plug in an older GPU or activate the intergrated GPU
Hard drive fails.. install windows on the second hard drive if there is one.
