I love this site. When vgchartz is in sony's favor (last week) "oh the cheaper xbox isn't selling even though it's only been a week, what a joke, ms sucks, ps4life" etc etc... When it's in x1s favor " oh vgchartz is an Xbot, or a child guessing out of his basement or is over tracking".

theres no cardboard cutouts in F5. i don't know where you get this from. for further proof look at the horizons 2 footage . Its the Forza 5 graphics engine. or play f5... with actual laser scanned real world tracks... not make believe.
Forza 5 is a simulator. Furthermore, the Forza 5 sim engine was built from the ground up from Forza 5 using data sets from testing centers and dunlop/pirelli i believe. Driveclub is more like Horizons... an arcade racer. they look pr...
and the fact that its a simulator. all these others lean toward arcade. in fact... at present, f5 is the ONLY driving sim racer for the new gen consoles.
Yeah. I don't think ryse was an amazing game but I also don't think it was nearly as bad as critics made it out to be. Definitely had it's moments. I'm interested in picking up the Order as well but I'd be lying if I said the mechanics arent cause for concern.
A linear game can be good (ie gears of war) but there's a reason open world games have increased in popularity. In my opinion, the gameplay on the Order is really going to have to be stellar. Ryse was another graphically impressive game, coincidentally linear as well and it got panned as boring and repetitive.
Ahhh 2015 will be the year my ps4 might actually get used. I really hope the order doesn't suck but so far I think the graphics are vastly more stellar than the actual gameplay I've seen. Here's to hoping.

agreed. you can even have debate and disagreements. after all, opinions are opinions and everybody's are different. everyone has their own priorities of whats important to them. its amazing how personal people make this stuff.
at the end of the day, companies just want to take your money. they don't want to be your friends, they won't give you a ride home when your car breaks down or help you move. i see absolutely no valid reason for people to be complete...

depends on the game to me. i'd take more dynamic graphics, optics, motion blur at 30fps in an open world game over 60 fps with no motion blur etc (i've never seen any console do motion blur at 60). An fps shooter on the other hand, I would definitely prefer 60 fps as its actually useful. Driving sims are another definite 60fps as the sims can only update physics as fast as the frame refreshes.
yes! i completely agree. It's what I keep trying to say. resolution only takes you so far. You could run Quake 3 at 6k but its still going to look pretty crappy.
as i have said before.... if people wanted pc's they would go buy them. i get that rez/fps always makes a pc gamer feel they need to chime in but really the conversation is about console versions. everybody knows a pc can do whatever you want it to do if you throw enough money at it. thats just assumed and goes without saying. console people care more about what their console can do for the money... which is much more affordable than a decent gaming rig.
